I Am Roses: Words And Ideas Can Change The World Altered Wood Frame

Happy Tuesday Friends! Today, I'm showcasing my latest project for I Am Roses featuring their beautiful paper flowers. I've been on a kick lately altering various things from the Dollar Tree. I had this plain wood shadow box frame lying around along with a Dollar Tree paper pad that has various quotes in it. I decided to combine the two to create this hanging home decor piece.

I added a large green rose in each corner, followed by white cherry blossoms, some brown edged flowers, S10m green small flowers, and tiny green leaves.

Jaded Blossom: I HEART U CUPCAKE CARD

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom. I have a bunch of the Gnome Dies Add Ons and wanted to challenge myself to use them for something different. I decided to create a Valentine's Day cupcake using products you probably wouldn't expect. After creating this one, I'm thinking of creating more for the other holidays.

I don't have the Cupcake Slider Die form Jaded Blossom (I know....it's a tragedy!), so I went through my pantry and decided to use a real cupcake liner. I cut it apart to create the cupcake base. Next, I used the car front grill die from the Car Dies: Cruiser to create the chocolate cake peeking out from the liner. I cut down the whip cream hat from Gnome Dies: Coffee Add Ons to create the frosting. The sprinkles came from Gnome Dies: Breakfast Add Ons. The little hearts are from Gnome Dies: Valentine Add Ons. The cupcake topper words are from Gnome Dies: Sweethearts Add Ons. I used a die from Cowboy Add Ons for the thin stick under the word toppers.

The red scallop mats were created using Scallop Rectangle Dies 1 and Scallop Rectangle Dies 2. And, of course, I had to add some heart patterned paper from one of my favorite companies, Doodlebug Design.

With Valentine's Day quickly approaching, this next set called BE MINE is the perfect addition to your TGF collection. It features a lovey dovey couple catching a romantic view, and comes with 3 sentiments along with 3 smaller accessory stamps.  

The sunset scene is from Shutterstock and printed on white cardstock. I fussy cut the couple image and raised it on foam tape. The sentiment is heat embossed onto the scene using white embossing powder.

The Greeting Farm January 2024 Stamp Feature Day 2: EVERYDAY SCRIPT

Happy Wednesday friends! We are on Day 2 of Stamp Features for the January 2024 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. As crafters we all need sentiment stamps, and this next called EVERYDAY SCRIPT comes with 6 awesome ones. It even includes a big Anya and the trio of hearts with lines. I decided to go with an '80s theme on my card today and used the sentiments to create a spray painted brick wall.  

The brick wall and concrete ground were digital papers in my stash that I combined together. I then used various colors of embossing powder along with gel pens to create the "graffiti".

For my project today, I altered this plaid home decor piece I got at the Dollar Tree. It already had the buffalo plaid fabric and chalkboard heart on it. I used a sentiment stamp from The Greeting Farm and heat embossed it with white embossing powder onto the heart. I added a white lace oval from Recollections around the heart. Next, I glued some ephemera from Diamond Press around the lace oval and added the bird at the top on foam tape.

 

 

To finish off the piece, I added a bunch of flowers from I Am Roses. The large flower is the R43 Peony. There are also some cherry blossom, S10 and S11 flowers along with some mini roses. I made a double loop bow from some buffalo plaid ribbon and added it to the bottom of the lace oval.

My family and I LOVE doughnuts so I had to create something using all the donut dies for my project today. I found these cute Valentine's Day Treat Kits at Walmart that fit 3 mini frosted donuts. And, how awesome is it that the donuts match up to the booth title from the Donuts For Sale Stamp Set (chocolate*maple*sprinkle)!
 

I cut one panel of the Build A Booth Die with the Build A Booth: Breakfast Add Ons to create the Donut Bar sign. Then I created two gnomes using Gnome Dies with the Gnome Dies: Breakfast Add Ons to go on the sides of the sign. I LOVE how it turned out!!

I am super excited for this release because Jaded Blossom finally made Car Dies: Cruiser for the gnomes!! I've been wanting a car die for a while now. I'm so giddy!! I decided to create a scene card with these girl gnome besties who are hitting the road for a weekend get away!

To create my gnomes, I used the Girl Gnome Dies, Gnome Dies: Spring Add Ons (hat), Gnome Dies: Girl Scarecrow Add Ons (hat band + hat flower), and the Gnome Dies: Gingerbread Add Ons (for their eyes). Where are my K-Drama peeps? For my project, I used the XL Topper Die with the Coffee Bean Stencil to create this bag topper for some Kopiko Cappuccino Coffee Candy. If you watch Korean Dramas then you've probably seen people pull Kopiko Coffee Candy from their office desks. I found the Cappuccino flavor at an Asian Market and LOVE them.

 

The gnome and sentiment are from the Gnome Brewed Stamp Set. I used Label Shape Dies 1 for the sentiment panel. The 5x5 Inch Clear Bags can also be found in the Jaded Blossom Store.

Jaded Blossom: WARM WINTER WISHES!

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my first blog post for 2024! I took a few weeks off in December to relax and enjoy the holidays. It was also one of the first years in a long time that we didn't travel, and let me tell you...it was really nice! I truly enjoyed the down time, but now it's time to get back to crafting. I have to say, I did miss it while on my little break. 

My winter card features stamps and dies from Jaded Blossom. I have a lot of unused stamps that I've been eager to ink up. I just LOVE these adorable penguins from the Winter Panels Stamp Set. I created a winter scene by cutting out a panel using Rectangle Dies 2 and inking it up to create a blue sky background. I used the Tree Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks to create 3 trees. Then I cut a separate white panel and used one of the dies in the Border Dies 2 set to create the snowy ground which I raised on foam tape. I fussy cut the penguins and also raised them on foam tape.

 

The sentiment is from the Winter Is Gnoming Stamp Set. To finish off the card, I used the Scallop Rectangles Dies 2 to cut the black scallop mat behind my scene panel, and then glued it to an A2 white card base.
