Jaded Blossom November 2022 New Release BLOG HOP!

  For my project, I created a large tag for this Sugar Cookie Gift Set using the Scallop Caddy. If you need a large tag, then this die is perfect! Walmart recently started putting out some of their Christmas stuff so I grabbed the gnome spatula set with the cookie cutter. They have a bunch of gnome-themed kitchen items this year!!
 

To create the cookie background, I used the Gingerbread Candies Stamp Set and stamped each image on Copic Xpress It Blending Card. Then I colored with Copic markers. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment in white from the Gnome Baked Stamp Set onto a strip of red cardstock. Lastly, I cut some of the dies from Gnome Dies: Baking Add Ons.

If you follow me then you know I love to use the various "candies" stamps to create my own background paper. Well, I'm back at it today with this next set called Gingerbread Candies *Grid Style*. I stamped the whisk using red ink in a random pattern and then heat embossed the sentiment in white on a piece of red cardstock.

Next, I individually stamped the gingerbread man, tree, and stocking on Copic Xpress It Blending Card, colored them with Copics, and fussy cut them to add next to the sentiment.

Today, I made a mini tag card using the new Gingerbread Girl Stamps with the coordinating Outline Die. I love the size of this gingerbread girl because you can create little shaped tags and cards! 

I stamped the gingerbread girl twice...once on brown cardstock and once on white cardstock. I colored in pieces on the white cardstock and fussy cut the bow, cheeks, and frosting to glue onto the brown cardstock cut-out. I added red enamel hearts for her buttons. I used a white gel pen to add in the white dots to her eyes.

I used the outline die to cut a piece of folded white cardstock to create a shaped card base. You have to extend part of the die above the fold so the pieces stay intact to create a folding card. You can leave it as a card or poke a hole at the top of the folded card to add twine to tie to your gift as a tag.

On the inside of the gingerbread girl, I used one of the sentiments from the Gnome Baked Stamp Set.

This release we have more gnome add-ons, and they are so ADORABLE! If you are like me and love sweet Christmas treats, then these next sets are a must-have! My card today features Gnome Dies: Gingerbread Add Ons, Gnome Baked Stamps, and the Gumdrop Stencil.

I die-cut the gnome pieces from Copic Xpress-It Blending Card and colored them in with Copic markers. I love the extra dimension you can create by using markers. The gumdrop stencils are a set of 2.....one with the solid gumdrops and the other stencil are the dots on top of the gumdrops. I inked up the first stencil and then used a white gel pen to go in the holes of the 2nd stencil for the dots.

Today's card features a Santa silhouette scene with the Merry Campers Stamps. I created a tree silhouette card a while ago and thought it would look great with the Santa silhouette from Christmas Panels Stamps. I used Distress Oxide Inks to create the blue sky and then stamped the trees from Tree Scene Stamps and used a white gel pen to add dots for stars.

 

I cut a circle in a piece of black cardstock and then added the Santa/tree scene behind it. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and added the camper over the trees with foam tape.

Jaded Blossom: HOT COCOA SCALLOP CADDY

 Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom. I used several stamps and dies to create a Christmas Gingerbread Scallop Caddy to hold hot cocoa and a candy cane. These make great student and teacher gifts and come together pretty quickly.

I used the mug die from the Coffee Dies Set for the red coffee cup. I cut a slit in the coffee part to add the marshmallows from the Coffee Banner Dies. The gingerbread girl is from Kawaii Gingerbread Stamps. I used the candy cane from Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 1 and added it inside the slit also. The sentiment is from Hot Cocoa Stamps (revamped).

I Am Roses + Conie Fong's Friendship Angel Cody

 Happy Monday friends! Today's card is for I Am Roses, and features their gorgeous paper flowers with this sweet digital image from Conie Fong called Friendship Angel Cody. I decided to create a Christmas card in blue and gold, and found a 6x6 paper pad at Hobby Lobby called O Holy Night with gorgeous blue, white and gold papers that went perfectly with my angel.

I printed him on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored him with Copic markers.

Jaded Blossom: STOCKING GIFT CARD HOLDER

 Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom. I'm switching gears and starting on gift card holders for Christmas. I used to spend days/weeks hunting down the perfect gift for family and friends. It was a lot of stress. Now, I just buy a bunch of gift cards so my recipient can buy what he or she wants. For me it's easier since December is such a busy month with birthdays and Christmas. I have my birthday in December, along with hubby, his 2 brothers, and several friends. I told you....it's CRAZY! 

I used the Stocking Gift Card Die to create the base shape. I LOVE that this die set come with 3 different stocking toppers, along with the toe and heel dies so you can cut different colored paper for those pieces! I plan on creating these in all different colors for Christmas.

I found some little white pom poms and added those to create some dimension. Then I tied some ribbon around the top. I think for Christmas, I'm going to use alphabet dies and add the recipient's name to the top of the stocking instead of tying ribbon. On the back of the stocking, there is a slot to add your gift card. I decorated the gift card panel using stamps from Gnome For Christmas. I used gel pens from Diamond Press to color in the gnome on the red cardstock.

To create the tag, I used the Treat Tag Die. The small gnome is from the Gnome For Christmas Stamp Set. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from Gingerbread Calories Stamp Set.
