Jaded Blossom Fall 2022 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 1!

 Happy Monday Friends! Today we are on Day 1 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom Fall 2022 Release. Once again this release is full of a lot of amazing products....including another Gnome Add On. And if you know anything about me, you know I'm all about these GNOMES!! I created a 5x7 scene card so I could use several of the dies in the new Gnome Dies: Fall Add Ons. I'm definitely a fall-loving girl so this add-on is a must-have! You will need to purchase the Gnome Dies in order to have the gnome body to use with the ADD-ONS. Isn't he adorable?!!

 

One of the things I love doing to create dimension is to die-cut my pieces from Copic Xpress It Blending Card and color in the pieces with my Copic Markers. It does take more time, but it allows me to create more shadows and dimension. I also move the hat up so my gnome has a little bit of a face.

For the tree, I just drew a trunk on brown cardstock, and added lines with dark brown Copic Markers. Then I colored the entire tree trunk in with a lighter brown to blend out the lines. I raised the tree trunk on foam tape for some dimension. The leaves are part of the Gnome Dies: Fall Add Ons. The sentiment is from the new Happy Fall Gnomie Stamp Set.

The Greeting Farm July Stamp Feature Day 3: BEACH VIBES

Today's stamp set takes us to a gorgeous, sandy beach where Anya and Ian are chillaxin' under a beach umbrella and enjoying the awesome views! It's called BEACH VIBES, and definitely where I wish I was at the moment! 

 

The scallop rectangle die is from Jaded Blossom, along with the white tag shape. The paper is from my stash. I raised the square scene and sentiment on foam tape for extra dimension.

The Greeting Farm July Stamp Feature Day 2: DEEPEST SYMPATHY

 Happy Wednesday everyone! We are on Day 2 of Stamp Features for the July 2022 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Today's stamp set called DEEPEST SYMPATHY is for all those difficult times in life. It has some beautiful flowers and butterflies that can be combined and arranged in various ways to fit any size card. I decided to create a gold circle frame with some flowers and butterflies. I did some masking so I could overlay the flower arrangement and leaves. 

 

To finish off the card, I added some Doodlebug Design patterned paper that says LOVE YOU and a double bow using pink ribbon with white hearts.

Today's stamp set called ANYA IN JAPAN starts off a new travel series with more to come. Anya is wearing a beautiful Kimono with a wide belt called an Obi. She recently visited Mount Fuji and is sending a Polaroid picture to her bestie!

 

My amazing, crafty friend Renate sent me gorgeous washi paper a couple of years ago and I finally pulled them out to use on this card. I colored Anya's skin, hair, flowers, and Polaroid scene with Copic markers. Anya's dress and fan are paper-pieced. The Polaroid die is from My Favorite Things.

 Today, I created a card using dies from Jaded Blossom. I just posted a clean and simple version of this silver/blue anniversary card in my previous blog post. You can scroll to that post to see the dies/stamps used. Now, I'm sharing the fancy, blinged up version! 

 

 I used silver flowers from I Am Roses to bling up the left side of the heart. I moved the sentiment towards the middle of the heart instead of having it at the bottom (see my previous blog post). I didn't have silver small flowers or leaves so I took a silver metallic paint pen and colored in leaves and the top petals of the small flowers. That's the great thing about the IAR flowers. You can change the color or add glitter to the petals to change things up. The possibilities are endless!

Jaded Blossom: Be Mine Anniversary Card with the Fancy Heart Die!

 Happy Friday friends! I'm back today for Jaded Blossom sharing another Anniversary card using my hubby's favorite colors. We celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary on July 3rd! Time is moving way to quickly! A couple of weeks ago I shared a Lava Anniversary Card. Today, I went a little more fancy. Hubby's favorite color is blue and he prefers silver over gold so that is what inspired this card. He's also a no frills kind of guy so I kept this clean and simple. If you want to see a fancier version with silver flowers, check back here at 10am for my I Am Roses post.

I used the Fancy Heart Die and cut the heart from metallic silver cardstock (purchased at Hobby Lobby). Then I used the Square Internal Scallops Dies 1 to frame the heart. The sentiment is from the Love You Lots Stamp Set. The tag for the sentiment was created using Mini Tag Dies 3.

Today, is my wedding anniversary! Paul and I have been married for 23 years and together for a total of 28 years. Yes....we dated for 5 years before we got married!
