Rachelle Anne Miller: NEW RELEASE on MAY 13TH

 Happy Tuesday friends! A new digital release is coming to the Rachelle Anne Miller Store on MAY 13th. The team has been doing previews this week prior to the release. Today, I'm showcasing this amazing digital image called SPACESHIP featuring a sweet boy and his monkey on an adventure in space. 

This one took a lot of Copics to color. I was really scared when I started coloring the galaxy background. I will tell you, in the beginning it looked horrible, LOL! But I was in too deep at that point and I didn't want to start over from scratch so I kept adding the purple and blue and continued blending. It finally came together when I added the white paint splatter (with acrylic paint) and drew the stars back in with a white signo pen.

The planet paper came from a digital file on Etsy available HERE. I found the perfect sentiment in a stamp set from My Favorite Things called Space Explorer.

Jaded Blossom May 2021 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 1

Happy Monday everyone! Today is Day 1 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom MAY 2021 Release. This release is all about birthdays and celebrations, so it's definitely a good one to own since we all have several of those throughout the year.  For my project today, I created a custom gift bag in some of my fave colors. These colors speak to me so you will probably see them a lot this week. I overlapped the stencil to continue the pattern all the way to the bottom of the bag. I used all of the new products featured today: Confetti Stencil, Birthday Banner Dies, Birthday Word Dies, and Fancy Birthday Stamps.

The tag was created using the Rounded Tag Die. The Happy Birthday word dies fit on the large tag die perfectly. The "wish big" sentiment is from the Fancy Birthday Stamp Set.

Jaded Blossom May 2021 Challenge: ANYTHING GOES!

 Hi friends! It's the first Sunday of the month and that means we have a brand new challenge at Jaded Blossom!

The month of May is MERMAY which is an art challenge where artists from all around the world draw mermaids. It starts at the beginning of May and lasts until the end of the month. While the original concept was to challenge artists to draw a mermaid every day in May, the challenge has crossed over to cardmakers to challenge us to create mermaid cards in May. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to create a daily mermaid card, but I will be featuring mermaids throughout the month in my projects. So to get my MerMay started I decided to use MERMAID KISSES for my challenge card today! 

 

I used cute papers from Echo Park Let's Be Mermaids 6x6 Paper Pad. The scallop circle around the Mermaid was created using the Scallop Circle Die. I raised the sentiment and mermaid panels on foam tape and then finished off the card with a bow.

I Am Roses + Conie Fong Bunny

 Happy Friday everyone! Today, I am showcasing a card featuring the gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses flowers with a sweet bunny digi from Conie Fong's Bunny Trio Bundle. Although this trio set was released for Easter, you can use it year round for different occasions. The yellow flowers are the R43 Roses, which I use all the time. They're my favorite for the focal point of my arrangements. Then I added hot pink cherry blossoms, along with small white and mint flowers. 

 I used an oval scallop die from MFT for the border around the bunny. The cute paper is from Doodlebug Design, and the sentiment is from Jaded Blossom. To finish off the card I added enamel dots to the two corners.

Jaded Blossom: SOME BUNNY NEEDS COFFEE

 Happy Friday everyone! Are you a coffee lover? I'm a bougie coffee lover, haha! I love it sweet and creamy so I always say I'm not really a true coffee connoisseur. Anyways, I drink it first thing in the morning and sometimes throughout the day. I just love it so much. That's why I had to own all of the coffee-themed stamp sets from Jaded Blossom. This set called SOME BUNNY NEEDS COFFEE is definitely a fave!
