C.C. Designs: Vampire Clover

Most of the things I create tend to be girly because I love pink and teal and unicorns and mermaids, haha! But today I went a little spooky with my C.C. Designs Halloween card featuring Rustic Sugar Vampire Clover. I mean he is a Vampire after all so I thought I needed a lot of red. As I was sitting upstairs in my craft studio, I happen to glance over at my Distress Inks and thought....hey, why not try to make a eerie red sky. So I went for it!! And, I think the creepiness was captured!

I took a sponge and rubbed Festive Berries Distress Ink all over my white cardstock. I probably could have just started with red cardstock, but the red distress ink was a much more vivid red. I then took Black Soot Distress Ink and rubbed it along the edge of a piece of cardstock that I cut with a cloud border die. As I move the cloud border down I just shift it to the left or right to get variations in the clouds. The Happy Halloween circle was made using the Poppystamps Hip Halloween Circle Die and the bottom tree border die is Lawn Fawn Stitched Tree Border Die.
Now be sure to head over to the C.C. Designs Store to snatch up all of these awesome goodies!

C.C. Designs Dragon Hansel Shaker Card

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope your week is going great so far! My SHAKER CARD features one of the NEWLY Released stamps from C.C. Designs called Dragon Hansel. I just LOVE him! He's the cutest dragon ever, and can be used for all sorts of different occasions! As you can see from my card, I have two Dragon Hansels.

How did I get the mirror image? I used the new Mirror Block Rubber Stamp. To get the mirror image, all you do is stamp your image onto the rubber and then press the rubber onto your paper. It gave me a faint line of the original image so I went over the lines with my Copic multiliner.

Skin: E000, E00, E01, E01, E11, E13
Black Hair: Black, C7, C3
Brown Hair: E71, E77, E79

7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store: Cas-ual Fridays Mermaids

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you are having a relaxing weekend so far! Today, I'm sharing a card for 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store using these beautiful mermaid silhouettes from the Cas-ual Fridays Mermaids Clear Stamp Set. Aren't they gorgeous?! I can see so many uses for this stamp set. I've got some ideas flowing...I just need to find the time to do them!
7 Kids has an awesome selection of Cas-ual Fridays stamps HERE. You are going to love this line!

The first thing I did to make this card was create the under-the-sea background. I used several Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks: Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, Peeled Paint, and Seedless Preserves. I used a sponge applicator and swirled my colors all over the watercolor paper. After I achieved the look I was going for, I took a wet paintbrush and tapped it against a pen to get wet splatters all over. Then I took some paper towel and dabbed up the ink.

For the mermaids, I stamped them onto the left over pieces of my watercolored paper with Versamark, and then heat embossed them with Black Embossing Powder. I then fussy cut them out and attached them to my card with pop-dots.

Don't forget about our current ANYTHING GOES Challenge on the 7 Kids Challenge Blog. Just click on the link on the Challenge Blog (right side bar) to upload your card for a chance at winning a $20 gift certificate to the store! Please use products from the 7 Kids Store on your uploaded projects.

Have a great Sunday my friends!

I decided to make another Popup Box Card this time featuring UNICORN LUCY!! I LOVE her!! I paired her up with the Meoples Unicorn Dreams Clear Stamps. These types of cards take me forever to make. 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store: Impression Obsession Riding Pretty

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you are having a relaxing weekend so far! Today, I'm sharing a watercolor card using the gorgeous Impression Obsession Riding Pretty Stamps. I LOVE this set!! It's so versatile and can be used for so many different occasions.

7 Kids Your Crafting Store has an awesome selection of Impression Obsession stamps and dies HERE. You are going to love this line!

To achieve this look, I first stamped my image and sentiment with Versamark, and then heat embossed them with gold embossing powder. I then watercolored the image using the awesome metallic ink pans from Prima Marketing Metallic Accents. I LOVE these! The colors are very vibrant, and add a really pretty shimmer to the image.

These are the gorgeous metallic colors in the set.

Here is my card put together. I used the Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Die to cut out the image. To achieve the cloud background, I cut a piece of cardstock using a cloud border die, lined it up over my paper, and rubbed blue chalk along the edge. As you move the cardstock down, you shift it to the left or right and rub more chalk over it until you get your desired effect. The green bottom is Distress Oxide Ink.

Here's a flat view so you can see the shimmer of the gold embossing.

The Greeting Farm: YOU'RE SPECTACULAR!

TGIF everyone! Today I'm back for The Greeting Farm to showcase this newly released stamp called You're Spectacular and its coordinating die:

 You're Spectacular - ClearYou're Spectacular - Die Cuts

For the month of July, The Greeting Farm released 4 new sets with coordinating dies. They are available for purchase in the STORE now. I love this set so much! It so remind me of ME, haha! I love the different glasses you can choose from to fit this cute gal. I used to wear glasses before I got the lasik surgery several years ago, and I actually LOVE my frames....just not the being blind part without them haha! I colored her with Copic Markers. For the area of the glasses, I colored her skin first, then went over the lenses with N0 and N2.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E11, E04
Hair: E23, E47, E49
Red: R24, R27, R29, R39
Black: C5, C7, Black

The paper with the black frames was a from a digital file called Geek Chic. My other papers were from American Crafts Amy Tangerine Better Together 6x6 Paper Pad. The sentiment is from the same You're Spectacular set. I cut it out using a die from LDRS Fancy Rectangles and Layers Die Set.

I hope you have a fabulous weekend! Be sure to head over to The Greeting Farm Store to snag all your favorites!

The Greeting Farm: UP!

Happy Thursday everyone! Today I'm back for The Greeting Farm to showcase this newly released stamp called Up and its coordinating dies:

For the month of July, The Greeting Farm released 4 new sets with coordinating dies. They are available for purchase in the STORE now. This set called Up reminded me of when the hubby and I went to see a hot air balloon show. I LOVE it! There were so many amazing balloons and watching them all lift into the sky was AWESOME!

For my card today I did quite a bit of paper-piecing. The only part I colored were the baskets. You don't always have to use your markers for your cards. :)

My papers were just random scraps in my stash. This is a great way to use up those smaller pieces of pretty paper you have sitting on your desk. The stitched rectangle die is from Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Die Set. I created clouds using chalk again. I cut a piece of cardstock with one of my cloud border dies and then just lined it up and rubbed chalked along the edge of the cut-out border.

I hope you have a fabulous day today! I'll be back tomorrow with one more stamp showcase for The Greeting Farm!

Hugs,
Rosie

I was so proud of it, I at least took a picture of it before I covered it up, LOL! I cut a piece of cardstock with one of my cloud border dies and then just lined it up and rubbed chalked along the edge.

I hope you enjoyed my summer BBQ scene with Hang Out Ian! I'll be back tomorrow with more goodness for The Greeting Farm!
