Jaded Blossom February 2022 Challenge: USE KRAFT CARDSTOCK!

 Happy Sunday friends! It's the first Sunday of the month and that means we have a brand new challenge at Jaded Blossom.

 Our next challenge is...

USE KRAFT CARDSTOCK!

Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner, I decided to create some quick and easy cards for the occasion. I used the solid heart die from the Fancy Heart Die Set to create the face. Then I added glasses from the Large Glasses Dies. To create some dimension on the glasses I cut an extra shape from foam and then glued my paper die-cut to the top before placing on the heart. I cut a rectangle frame using Rectangle Dies 2 from kraft cardstock and added a thin mat behind it in the same color cardstock as the heart. I handwrote the sentiment, but if I had the Alphabet Dies, I would have used them. And to kick it up a notch, I added googly eyes!

 

 On this next card, I die-cut the word "friend" using the Basic Word Dies.
