Happy Friday everyone! So have you started making any travel plans yet or is it still too early? Now that hubby and I have received our vaccinations we have decided to break free and head to Hawaii for vacation. I'm so happy to be able to travel somewhere...and what better place than Hawaii!! So with Hawaii on the brain, I decided to pull out a Jaded Blossom stamp set I love, but haven't created with yet. Say hello to BE A PINEAPPLE! Since my hubby is half Hawaiian, these sentiments are some of my fave!
I love that this set has a large pineapple and then some smaller stamps that are perfect for creating your own background paper. I used the mini pineapple and the Aloha circle stamp to create the pattern. For the large pineapple, I decided to do a no-line coloring technique.
COPICS:
Green leaves: YG23, YG25, YG67
Green leaves: YG23, YG25, YG67
Pineapple Body: Y21, YR21, YR23, YR27, E19
Glasses: C6, C8, C10
The Aloha is embossed in white. I fussy cut the pineapple and raised him on foam tape for extra dimension.
Remember, we have a monthly challenge on the Jaded Blossom Blog, and you still have a few more hours to enter. This month the theme is ANYTHING GOES (easy peasy). We hope you play along with us for a chance to win a FREE Stamp Set! Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store for all your stamps and gift giving supplies. They have various Cutting Dies to make party favors along with Favor Bags and Boxes.
Hugs,
Rosie
Love your card, especially because I LOOVE PINEAPPLES!! I felt compelled to write to you as Hawaii still has a lot of restrictions, my cousins just got back a couple of weeks ago. Everything is by reservation, car rentals, attractions, meals. Therefore, do your due diligence to have a fun time.
