The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature: BOUQUET

Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm on Day 2 of The Greeting Farm's Stamp Features showcasing new stamps from the March Release. Today's set called BOUQUET will transport you to the countryside of France with its beautiful floral stamps and 2 French sentiments. This time around I did some heat embossing and water coloring with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers.

To create this card, I first used a stitched rectangle die to cut a rectangle from watercolor paper. Next, I lightly traced a circle so that part of it was off the card. Then I used an embossing ink pad to stamp one of the floral stamps around the circle. I sprinkled Gold Embossing Powder on top and heat set it. I noticed some areas needed something so I used the single leaf stamp to fill in a few areas, and embossed it again. Then I stamped Bonjour in the middle of the wreath and did the same thing. It helps sometimes to do the heat embossing in steps so you can see the placement better.

To color in the florals I used my Zig Clean Color Brush Markers. I laid the color down at the bottom of the leaf or flower, then use a wet paintbrush to move the color out to the top of the flowers so it's lighter at the top. After coloring in the floral wreath, I then scribble the markers onto an acrylic block, added water with my paintbrush and tapped the paintbrush against my pencil to create ink splatter.

I was so inspired by this month's release! It's seriously one of my faves! Be sure to head over to The Greeting Farm Store and grab your favorites. You're going to LOVE them all!

Hugs,
Rosie
