The Got Joy Creations Holiday Card Series started on November 17th, and ends today December 14th. Each day Dana featured various Guest Designers on her Blog and her YouTubeChannel. Today just happens to be my birthday, and what better way to celebrate than having prizes! For the ornaments, I used 4-inch embroidery hoops and embroidery fabric. I stamped the images onto the embroidery fabric using the C.C. Designs Hybrid Ink Pad, and then used a Copic Multiliner to fill in any broken lines. Next, I colored them in with Copic Markers using a light touch when I got close to the edges. Be careful because the ink will bleed outside your stamped lines if you get too heavy handed! These ornaments are not embroidered at all...just colored in with markers! The finishing touch was to add a bow to the top and jute twine to hang the ornament.
I kept the design for both cards the same, but changed out the patterned paper. Even though the design is the same they both have a different look because of the different papers.
