Summer is at it's close now, and the kiddos will be heading back to school soon (if they haven't started already!)
We wanted to end the summer with our fun and fantastic CAMPING Theme set!
This very special Theme Hop has 5 new stamps, 2 die sets and 1 (36) piece die cut set!

TGIF everyone! This week we were back to our school routine, and boy was it a hard hit! We are all exhausted. I need another vacation soon! These new stamps and dies from Stamp Anniething make me long for the gorgeous mountains of Switzerland! One day I want to move where there are mountains.
I created two cards today using several of the new stamps and the mountain die. I LOVE that die!! It's so versatile! My starry sky for both cards was created using Copic Alcohol Ink Refills on Yupo Paper. After the ink dried, I used a paintbrush and splattered white acrylic paint (loosened up with some water) on top to create the stars.
My first card features Camping 2 (sentiment), Camping 4 (girl sitting on rock), and the Mountain Border Die. The Moon was created by cutting out a circle from watercolor paper, and using a gray Zig Clean Color Marker to scribble in random areas. Next, I used a wet paintbrush to swirl the color around.
The mountain panel was cut out from Yupo paper. I added different green Copic alcohol inks to the bottom and spread the inks with a paintbrush dipped in alcohol. Next I added the dark gray Copic Ink to the top of the panel to color the mountains. I raised the mountain/grass panel on foam dots to create some dimension. I colored the girl with Copic Markers and raised her on foam dots also, along with the sentiment.

My next card features Camping 1 (tent), Camping 3 (sentiment and fire), Camping 5 (boy and log), Camping Out Die-Cuts (trees), and the Mountain Border Die. I created the starry sky the same way with alcohol inks on Yupo paper. The mountains were created using black cardstock sprayed with a shimmer spray. I then used some older dies called Under The Sea Dies to create the grass and dirt border at the bottom of the card.
