The Paper Shelter "SPECIAL BIRTHDAY" Blog Hop!!

Good Morning fellow crafters and welcome to The Paper Shelter's SPECIAL BIRTHDAY Blog Hop!! Today we are celebrating The Paper Shelter's 3rd Birthday, which is officially on December 8th. The challenge introduced today will last for two weeks, and includes both TPS Design Teams, WOOT, WOOT!! :)

Our two Design Teams have worked very hard to showcase the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter STORE. Each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a choice of one FREE digital image!! In addition, there will be a main prize!! You can read all the details on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.

For my card today I used the super adorable CHEERLEADER digi! She's just the cutest thing ever and perfect for birthday cards! She's printed on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copics.

 Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E11
Lips: R20, R22
Eyes: B21, B23
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Red: R22, R24, R27, R29, Stickles
Blue: B21, B23, B24, B29
Yellow: Y18, Stickles

 I used the digital paper included with the Cheerleader digital file to create my card. I printed the digital paper 3 times and cut out various elements so I could add pop-dots behind them for added dimension. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.

    I recently purchased this little sweetie to make some Boise State cards...I love how you used her for a birthday card! Okay, I need to pull her out again to play some more! Fun layout! Great color combination! Love her hair!!

    Rosie, this is just fabulous. I mean, the image is adorable to start with, but with you popping up some of the elements, it is totally great.     I wouldn't have thought about using this image for a birthday card. But you are right, it does fit perfectly! Especially with the "hip hip hooray" sentiment. :)
