Happy Wednesday everyone!! I'm so excited for this post today because it's my official start on The Paper Shelter Design Team!! These digi stamps and papers are AMAZING!! The files even come with colored images so you can make your cards quickly and easily....with no coloring! The coloring is the fun part for me though! :)
The new challenge at The Paper Shelter Blog this week is:
CHARM US!
(use a charm on your project)
There is a new challenge every week along with an awesome prize up for grabs!! What's the prize?? If you play with a TPS image and win, you get a $30 gift certificate to spend in The Paper Shelter STORE!! If you play in our challenge with a different image, you have a chance of winning
three digis of your choice. You can view all the challenge rules HERE.
I also want to let you know that The Paper Shelter has a special Halloween Sale during the month of October. Head to The Paper Shelter Store HERE to see all the Halloween Sale items!
For my card today, I used the super adorable Sophie in the Country.....isn't she gorgeous?!!! I am sooooo in LOVE with these digital stamps!! I printed her on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copics.
Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E11
Eyes: E43, E44
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Pink: R81, R83, R85
Teal: BG10, BG13, BG15
Blue Jeans: B91, B93, B95, B99, R83, R85, BG13
Fence: E42, E43, E44, E47
Grass: G21, G23, G28
Sky: Blue Chalk
My dps are from American Crafts EVERYDAY 6x6 Paper Pad (I bought it at Target). The flower frame around the image is from The Paper Shelter digital paper included with Sophie in the Country. Did you know that some of the files come with digital paper? It's awesome the amount of stuff you get with a TPS file!! I cut the inside of the frame out with an craft knife so I could lay it on top of the image. :)
The white butterfly border was made using the Joy Crafts Butterfly Border Die. The wide pink ribbon is from Walmart along with the butterfly charm. The large pearls are from Recollections. I distressed the edges of my paper with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I also raised the image with the frame on pop-dots for added dimension.
To enter our "Charm Us!" Challenge head over to The Paper Shelter Blog and link up your card. You can enter a maximum of 3 times (one of them must contain a paper shelter image)!! Be sure to use a new project please....no backlinking. This challenge will run until Tuesday, October 15th.
Have a GREAT rest of the week! It's hump day so just a couple more days until the weekend, Woot, Woot!
Hugs,
Rosie :)
