Yumi and Fumi Challenge #21~ANYTHING GOES

Happy Sunday everyone!! After a little break over on the Yumi and Fumi Handmade Crafts Blog, we are back in full force with a brand new DT (actually 2 teams now) and some awesome new challenges!! It's been an amazing year for Yumi and Fumi and we intend to make things even better and more exciting with our new changes!

If you didn't see the announcement on the new teams, then be sure to head over to the blog and scroll down. We now have 2 teams: Team Yumi and Team Fumi! We'll be alternating each week to bring you lots of inspiration! If you haven't checked out our new challenge guidelines then be sure to click HERE.

We are still a bi-weekly challenge blog, but the biggest change we are making is that you can now use ANY stamped image!!! You have to use a colored image on your project though! No "sentiment only" cards allowed. However, if you use a Y&FH image your name will be added a maximum of 1 extra time after the last name in Inlinkz. :)

What's up for grabs? The winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to the Yumi & Fumi Handmade online store. Our Top 3 will receive a 10% discount code to be used in the Yumi & FumiHandmade online store. AWESOME!!

Now on to Challenge #21.....a really easy one to get us back into the swing of things:

ANYTHING GOES!!

Pretty simple, right?!! We should see a lot of you participating in this one. For my card I used an image that reminds me of my hubby, Summer Chuckles. He's colored with Copics. :)

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E11
Eyes: G21, G24
Shirt: YR02, YR04, YR07, YR09
Shorts: B000, B04, YR09
 Flip flops: B04

I used some awesome dps from Carta Bella "Beach Boardwalk" 6x6 paper pad (one of my faves right now). I used an exacto knife to cut around the shark and surfboard on the dp so my Polaroid frame could slide behind the shark and fit better in the middle of the card. The Polaroid frame isn't a die. I just cut the inside out with an X-acto Knife. The light blue chevron background dp is from Teresa Collins. The scene on the inside was created using 2 different Jolee's Boutique Dimensional Sticker Sets: Waves & Beach Leisure.

We hope you will join in our "Anything Goes" challenge using ANY image you like! We can't wait to see what you make!! You have until Friday, August 16th (Noon, PST) to join in our challenge HERE. We'll announce the winner and top 3 picks on Saturday, August 17th! Good Luck everyone!!

Hugs!
Rosie :)

  2. I have to admit - Chuckles is one of my faves as well. He reminds me of SO many of my friends and family - including my dearly beloved! Love the scene you created with him and the "polaroid".
