Today starts Challenge #11 at Yumi and Fumi Handmade and this time around we have an wonderful sketch created by Kim Yu.
Feel
free to flip the sketch or substitute different shapes. We'd just like
to see you incorporate this layout in your project. For those of you
who don't own a Yumi and Fumi Handmade stamp you can still play along. If you have any stamps/images from La-La Land Crafts, The
Greeting Farm or Sister Stamps you can play. However, if you do happen
to use a Yumi and Fumi Handmade image on your project your name will be
thrown in to the drawing an extra time. Not sure what qualifies for our
challenges? Visit the Challenge info page by clinking HERE.
You
have until Friday, March 15th to link up your project to the Yumi and Fumi Blog. Remember to use
a direct link to the project and not your blog. Those entries could
possibly be deleted.
For my card today, I used the super adorable Fumi w/Bear Backpack. She reminds me of a little girl I know named Sadie....spunky and soooo CUTE and rockin' that backpack! I colored her with Copics, of course. :)
Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11
Hair: E43, E47, E49
Shirt/Socks: R24, R27, R29, R59
Skirt/Shoes: C3, C5, C7
Backpack: E41, E42, E43, E44
For my card I used some cute dps from DCWV The Edumacation Stack. The alphabet doily was cut using a Marianne Design Die (LR0130). The corners were made using Whimsy Stamps Cornder Die Set. The ribbon is from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby). And, the flower and pearls are from Recollections (Michaels).
I raised Fumi on pop-dots for added dimension. :)
Have a great Sunday!
Rosie :)
Sadie might be rockin' that backpack, but you rocked this card. ;) It's fantastic! Hugs! xx
