Jaded Blossom February 2025 Challenge: USE A STENCIL!

Happy Sunday friends! It's the first Sunday of the month and that means we have a brand new challenge at Jaded Blossom.

 Our next challenge is ...

USE A STENCIL!
(must use at least 1 JB product)

Challenge Guidelines: 

1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back-linking

2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp or die somewhere on it. 

3) Only one entry per person

For my project today, I created goodie bags for these safari animal candies I found on Amazon. I used the XL Topper Die, 5x5 inch Clear Bag, and Zebra Stripes Stencil with black texture paste to create the pattern on the bag topper. Of course I had to add a Safari Gnome! To create my gnomes, I used Gnome Dies, Gnome Dies: Gnome Face Add Ons 1 (mustache and nose), Gnome Dies: Safari Add Ons (hat), and Gnome Dies: Outdoor Add Ons (camera and binoculars).

 

 

The sentiments are from Wild Valentine Stamp Set and cut out using Mini Tag Dies 2. I raised the gnomes and sentiments on foam tape for extra dimension.

I Am Roses + Conie Fong Dinosaur

Happy Friday friends! I'm back today for I Am Roses with an adorable Dinosaur card. You can learn how to draw this dinosaur from the Draw With Conie YouTube Channel. I had some cute dino paper in my stash and decided to go with pink and purple for my dino. The gold and pink chipboard hearts are from Kingston Crafts. The sentiments are by Jaded Blossom To finish off the card, I added R43 Pale Pink with Pink Center Peonies, Purple Cherry Blossoms, S10 Pink Flowers, and Tiny Green Leaves.

Remember, you have until February 8th to link up your project on the IAR Blog. Be sure to use a minimum of 3 I Am Roses products on your card to qualify for a prize. I can't wait to see what you make!

Conie Fong: BAILEY AND BEE

Happy Thursday friends! Have you checked out Conie Fong's FREE drawing videos on her YouTube Channel called DRAW WITH CONIE? Conie walks you step-by-step on how to draw simple images. If you have ever been interested in drawing or need an activity to keep the kids entertained, then head over and Subscribe! She is also loading these images into her ConieFongArt Etsy Store so you can purchase the digital line art to color if you don't want to draw them.

Today's card features one of my favorite illustrations from Conie Fong called BAILEY AND BEE. I think it's so sweet combining the bear and bee together. I wanted the image to be the focal point so I printed it A2 size.

The scene is printed on Xpress It Blending Card, and colored with Copic Markers. I used a cloud stencil and Broken China Distress Oxide Ink to make the clouds. To add the sentiment inside the heart, I used MS Word.

Jaded Blossom: LOVE YOUR FUREVER

Happy Friday everyone! Valentine's Day is quickly approaching so I'll be posting lovey dovey cards over the next several weeks. Jaded Blossom products really make creating cute and fun cards easy! For my card today, I wanted to use the Love Stacked Word Die. I still had the Wild Valentine Stamp Set sitting on my desk from the new release and spotted the sentiment "Love You Furever" so I knew I wanted to add a furry animal. I went through my stash and decided to use the little puppy from Bicycle and Friends Die because I could make it look like he was hanging from the letter O.

I cut all the puppy pieces from Copic Xpress It Blending Card and use my Copic Markers to color up each piece. Then I glued him to the letter O. I added foam tape to the back of the letters to give it more dimension. I used the Card Mat Dies for the stitched white panel.

The Greeting Farm January 2025 Stamp Feature Day 3: COFFEE COUPLE

Happy Wednesday friends! We are on our last day of Stamp Features for the January 2025 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced three new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release.

This next set reminds me of my son and his girlfriend so I colored them up to look like them. Aren't they the cutest COFFEE COUPLE ever?! I LOVE this set! I stamped extra Anya hands and added them to the coffee cups and donut for both Anya and Ian.

The coffee shop background was a free clipart file from freepik.com. You can download it HERE. I colored the sidewalk area gray and used a stencil to add the clouds/sky.

The Greeting Farm January 2025 Stamp Feature Day 2: BOOK LOVER

Happy Friday friends! We are on Day 2 of Stamp Features for the January 2025 New Release at The Greeting Farm. When I saw this next set called BOOK LOVER, I knew I wanted to create a library scene with all the animals that looked like it could be out of a coloring book. I stamped the bookcase multiple times and fussy cut them to go along the back wall. I cut two of the bookcases smaller to create a little window seat. I also cut some of the books from the bookcase to go on the framed sign. 

This card was a lot of fun to put together. I didn't do a lot of shading. I just did single marker coloring which was quite relaxing.

Jaded Blossom January 2025 Release BLOG HOP!

Happy Thursday friends! It's time for the Jaded Blossom January 2025 Release! To celebrate, we are having a little hop to showcase the fabulous projects created by the Design Team. Today, I created an elephant themed bag topper for this candy I got off of Amazon using the XL Topper Die and 5x5 inch clear bags. The bag of candy comes with several different safari animals, but I decided to just use the elephants. To create the elephant gnome, I used the new Gnome Dies: Animal Add Ons and the new Valentine Gnome Faces Stamp Set with Gnome Dies, and Gnome Dies: Gnome Face Add Ons 1.

The background heart paper was made using the large hearts from the new Valentine Embellishment Cluster Dies. The cute sentiment is from the new Wild Valentine Stamp Set. I cut out the sentiment using one of the dies from Mini Tag Dies 2, and mounted it on foam tape for extra dimension.

 To finish off the card, I glued one of the candies onto the gnome so he's holding it. Aren't those candies adorable and fun?! You can purchase them from Amazon HERE.

The Greeting Farm January 2025 Stamp Feature Day 1: ANYA IN NEW YORK

Happy Thursday friends! We are on Day 1 of Stamp Features for the January 2025 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced three new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release.

Anya has resumed her travels, and this month she's in the Big Apple! Anya In New York comes with several iconic images along with a couple of sentiments. I bought the Lawn Fawn Platform Pop-Up Dies last year and finally decided to put them to use. This is my first platform pop-up and I LOVE how it turned out.

On the Platform Pop-Up Add On (the tall back panel), I used a stencil to add a sky and then stamped the buildings multiple times.

The great thing about this pop-up card is that it folds flat for mailing.

Today, I'm sharing an elegant white card that I can have on hand for any occasion. I left off the sentiment so I could add one that fits at a later time. The base shape of the card is 5.5 x 5.5. I cut the center white panel at 4.75 x 4.75 so there would be a wider border. I then used white dimensional paste over the new Jaded Blossom Leopard Print Stencil to give the middle panel a textured design. I added foam tape under the middle panel to give it some lift from the card base.

 

 

Next, I cut little thin strips from gold cardstock and glued them along two edges. I had a beautiful floral die from Momenta that I cut from gold cardstock which was then glued to the bottom right corner. Lastly, I added a white May Roses Paper Flowers Spray and a large White Rose at the bottom of the spray.

Our lovey dovey gnomes are hitting it poolside and enjoying an escape from the frigid cold temperatures. I used the FREEBIE OFFER Giraffe Stencil to create pool water. I wanted it to look like the gnomes were peeking over the side of the pool wall with the water behind them. To create my gnomes, I trimmed the gnome shape off the Gnome Gift Card Slider Die for the base. Then I used the face shape from Gnome Dies: Girl Gnome Face Add Ons for both gnomes. The smaller mustache came from Gnome Dies: Gnome Face Add Ons 1. Their cute expressions are from the Valentine Gnome Faces Stamp Set.

I used the new Valentine Embellishment Cluster Die to add the hearts and lips to the gnome hats. The heart street lamp was created using the new Street Lamp Die: Valentine Add On with the previously released Street Lamp Die. The sentiments are from the new Lovers Lane Stamp Set.
