I Am Roses + Pixie Gnome Creations Wizard Magic Gnome Clipart

Happy Monday friends! Can you believe it's already the end of September? For me that means a lot of birthday and holiday cards coming up. Sometimes, you need to put together a card quickly. As much as I love coloring, when I need to put together a quick card, I LOVE using pre-colored digital clipart. You can use these images for cards, busted canvases, and home decor pieces...the possibilities are endless! I found the cutest, most adorable gnome bundle on Etsy from Pixie Gnome Creations called Watercolor Wizard Magic Gnome Clipart Bundle. All of their gnome bundles are ADORABLE!

I also used a free digital paper file from Creative Fabrica called Watercolor Pastel Rainbow Skies Digital Paper, which coordinated perfectly with the gnome clipart. The sentiment is from an Echo Park Paper Pad called Witches and Wizards 2. The stars were made using a My Favorite Things Die. 

 

 

To take the card to the next level, I added gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses. The large flowers are R43 Unicorn Peonies followed by S3 baby blue cherry blossoms, and S10m soft pink flowers. The leaves were created by cutting apart white medium poinsettia petals, and inking the edges with pink distress ink.

Conie Fong: SUCCULENT & CACTUS BUNDLE

Happy Sunday friends! Have you checked out Conie Fong's FREE drawing videos on her YouTube Channel called DRAW WITH CONIE? Conie walks you step-by-step on how to draw simple images. If you have ever been interested in drawing or need an activity to keep the kids entertained, then head over and Subscribe! She is also loading these images into her ConieFongArt Etsy Store so you can purchase the digital line art to color if you don't want to draw them.

Today's card features a cute kawaii cactus image from the SUCCULENT AND CACTUS BUNDLE. I needed a Thank You Card and this image was quick to color. I also kept the card on the simple side by using patterned paper and navy cardstock. 

The scallop circle die is from Jaded Blossom. I added a strip of navy cardstock behind the image and raised the circle on foam tape for extra dimension. The sentiment was typed in MS Word under the image before printing.

Jaded Blossom: It's Your Birthday, Let's BOOGIE!

Happy Friday everyone! We recently had a Spooky Release, and the Gnome Friends: Ghost Die is one of my favorites! It's really versatile and perfect for so many different occasions. For today, I created a ghostly birthday card using one of the sentiments from the Ghostly Greeting Stamp Set, along with the Outline Dies. The cute faces were created using the Ghost Faces Stamp Set.

To make this card even more fun, I added the ghosts on action wobbles so they shake...or should I say BOOGIE! To see the video of them in action, head to the Jaded Blossom Facebook Page.

The Greeting Farm September 2024 Stamp Feature Day 3: HOLIDAY ANYA 12

Happy Thursday friends! We are on Day 3 of Stamp Features for the September 2024 New Release at The Greeting Farm. Every year The Greeting Farm introduces a new beautiful girl for the holidays. This one called HOLIDAY ANYA 12 features Anya in a new winter outfit with a festive reindeer headband. She's delivering gifts accompanied by her little reindeer friend and snowman buddy. Aren't they all adorable?

There is nothing worse when coloring than an unexpected ink blog which happened when I was coloring Anya's hair puffs. So off to the salon she went to get a hair cut, LOL! Fortunately, it didn't blob over the parts I already colored. I inked up the white card base with Distress Oxide Ink and then splattered white acrylic paint over it to create the falling snow. The snow drifts were created using Jaded Blossom Border Dies 2.

As fall quickly approaches, some of us are gearing up for PUMPKIN SPICE SEASON! On the farm, the leaves are changing colors and big Anya and Ian have already grabbed their pumpkin spice lattes. Life is better with a lil' spice! 

To create the background sky, I used Broken China Distress Oxide Ink with a cloud stencil. Then I added some torn green cardstock to the bottom edge. I raised big Anya, Ian, and the sentiment on foam tape for extra dimension.

Things are starting to get spooky on the farm, and WICKED ANYA has decided to come visit. This adorable witch has been seen roaming around with her jack-o-lantern candy bucket and cute kitty companion. 

I used distress oxide inks and a cloud stencil to create the cloudy night sky. Then I added some torn green cardstock to the bottom edge. I fussy cut the characters, bats, and sentiment strip to add to the card. Anya, the cat, and sentiment are raised on foam tape for extra dimension.

Isn't she a cutie?! I used some dies from Jaded Blossom to create the scallop circle and scene. The paper is from Echo Park and Honey Bee Stamps. I finished off the card with a bow and some beautiful IAR flowers: R43 Peony, white cherry blossoms, S10m aqua blue flowers, S10m hot pink flowers, and Tiny Green Leaves.

On Thursday, I showcased a Halloween card featuring all of the characters. Today, I wanted to show this set can be used for occasions other than Halloween so I created two simple cards featuring the superhero and astronaut. I'll have a card tomorrow using the girl clown.  

 

On the astronaut card, I used a digital paper pack from Creative Fabrica called Pastel Galaxy Space for the background. I then cut a large white circle and used Jaded Blossom Grunge Stencil over it. The sentiment is from an older The Greeting Farm stamp set called My Universe.

 

This next card features the superhero. The background paper is from Doodlebug Design Hometown USA 6x6 Paper Pad. I then used a city silhouette slimline die from Mama Elephant called Slim Film City for the bottom panel. The sentiment is from another older TGF set called Little Heroes which I heat embossed in white.

I created a large slimline card so I could fit all six characters. The cute paper is from Doodlebug Design. I used a speech bubble for the It's Spooky sentiment. Every other character is raised on foam tape for extra dimension. I think little Maleficent Bean has a thing for Superman Bean, haha!

Jaded Blossom September 2024 Release BLOG HOP!

Happy Thursday friends! It's time for the Jaded Blossom September 2024 Release! To celebrate, we are having a little hop to showcase the fabulous projects created by the Design Team. I have so many ideas in my head for the new ghost and bear dies, and I don't have enough time to get them all out, haha! I wanted to use a bunch of the new products on my project, so I decided to create a scene card. My boy and girl bear are dressed up and ready to get all the Halloween candy!

I used the pumpkin from Gnome Dies: Spooky Add Ons for the pumpkin outfit on the boy bear. The bear faces were created using the Bear Faces Stamp Set. For the girl bear, I layered 3 of the Gnome Friends: Ghost Die to make the ghost costume long enough to cover her body. TIP: You want to use only the bottom scallop part of the ghost die on the two bottom layers (if you don't trim the tops of the bottom ghost layers then the stacked paper is too thick for the die to cut the eye holes). I used a die in the Gnome Friends: Bear Die to cut out the eye holes on the ghost. The pumpkin candy basket was created using Gnome Dies: Halloween Add Ons and one of the pumpkins from Wheelbarrow Dies: Fall Add Ons. I also included the Street Lamp Die the Rickety Fence Die, and Bear Hugs Stamp Set from the new release.
