I Am Roses + Conie Fong Pumpkin Gnome

Happy Saturday friends! Today, I'm ending the month of August with another Halloween card using gorgeous I Am Roses flowers with Conie Fong's Pumpkin Gnome.....which I altered to be a Jack-O-Lantern Gnome. I just used some die cut-outs to add a little face to the pumpkin. I love this little guy! Isn't he the cutest little wizard now!

To finish off the card, I added beautiful I Am Roses flowers. The large middle flowers are the R43 Purple Peonies. Next, I added black cherry blossoms, S10m small orange flowers, and tiny green leaves.

Jaded Blossom: SPOOKY SEASON!

Happy Friday everyone! Last month was Christmas in July, and this month I'm doing Halloween in August! I loved the recently released Photo Frame Die so I decided to use it for a Halloween card. To create this spooky scene, I started off with some paper from Doodlebug Design. The string of bats at the top of the card is from Halloween Banner Dies. The other shapes are from Halloween Dies. 

I had these fun googly eyes with lashes so I had to use them on the ghost. I raised the bats and spiders on foam tape for extra dimension. The sentiment is from Spooky Season Stamp Set.

The Greeting Farm August 2024 Stamp Feature Day 3: ANYA DELIVERS

This last set called ANYA DELIVERS features Anya on a scooter bringing surprise deliveries of hugs, smiles and happy wishes! I used patterned paper to create my background scene.

The Greeting Farm August 2024 Stamp Feature Day 2: EMMY SENDS

We have a new character at the farm. Say hello to Emmy! In our 2nd set, EMMY SENDS, we have an adorable girl holding a bird who's ready to send off lots of sweetness your way. This set is currently sold out, but more are on the way!

I wanted Emmy to be holding the letters, so I used a craft knife and cut around her arm and hand to insert the letters under her arm. To create the background, I used some Distress Oxide Ink with a cloud stencil. The sentiment is part of the set. I raised Emmy and the heart on foam tape for extra dimension.

I'm continuing with Halloween in August so today I've got a cute ghostly card that's sure to put a smile on your face. I used the cutest decorative paper from Doodlebug Design Sweet and Spooky 6x6 Paper Pad, and combined it with Jaded Blossom Gnome Dies: Halloween Add Ons. The great thing about this card is it came together quickly. It literally took less than 30 minutes to put this together!

 

Do you know that IAR carries black flowers? They go perfectly with all your spooky cards!! For this card, my large flower is the R43 Peony in black. Next, I added S3 Purple Cherry Blossoms, followed by S11 Black Summer Cottage and Tiny Green Leaves.

Jaded Blossom August 2024 Medical Release BLOG HOP!

I used the new Photo Frame Die to go on the front of the cellophane bag. The nurse was created using: Girl Gnome Dies, Gnome Dies: Girl Gnome Face Add Ons, and Gnome Dies: Medical Add Ons. Isn't she so cute?!!

The sentiment is from the new Scrub Life Stamp Set. I used the coordinating Outline Dies to cut it out so I could raise it on foam tape.

I'm on a roll with these little gift box holders so today I created another one to hold this adorable Squishmallow First Aid Kit. And BONUS.....it's a shaker!! The box portion was created using the Build A Booth: Treat Box Add Ons. On the Treat Box, I used the FREEBIE OFFER Medical Supplies Stencil. 

I used the Stylized Rectangle Dies to create the top shaker part. The words FIRST AID KIT were created using the words from the Photo Frame Die. To create the squishmallow cat, I used the stem from the Mushroom House Die, the reindeer ears from Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 3, and the little nose came from the Bicycle and Friends Die. The black eyeball is from an Eye For An Eye Shape Sprinkles.      

Inside the shaker, I created the shaker bits using the new Medical Embellishment Cluster dies. When I cut them out, I glued two pieces back to back so that way if they get turned upside down inside the shaker it doesn't show the rough unfinished cut side.

I had these cute Pochacco Band aids in my stash, so I created a band aid box holder using the new products with the Build A Booth: Treat Box Add Ons. On the Treat Box, I used the new Bandaid Stencil with Salvaged Patina, Speckled Egg, and Candied Apple Distress Oxide Inks.

Next up was trying to recreate Pochacco using JB Dies. I started off with the Gnome Friends: Bunny Die. To create his eyes and nose I used the eyes from the ghost in Gnome Dies: Halloween Add Ons. His ears were created using the coffee bean die from Gnome Dies: Coffee Add Ons. For the hair on his head, I used the tail of the pinata from Gnome Dies: Cinco de Mayo Add Ons. One of the hats from Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 3 was used for his shirt. His arms are from the new Gnome Dies: Medical Add Ons. 

To complete the project, I added the new Photo Frame Die to the top of the treat box. The little heart for the "i" is from Gnome Dies: Medical Add Ons.

Happy Monday Friends! Today, we are on Day 1 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom August 2024 Medical Release. You can grab the "Gotta Have It Now Package" for a discounted amount. If you wait until the release goes live, the bundle price will go up.

This new release features products to honor those in the medical field. I have a lot of family and friends who are nurses so these will definitely come in handy! They also make amazing pick-me-up cards and projects. I found this awesome bottle of LOVE PILLS  that hold personal messages from you (on Amazon), and decided to use the Build A Booth Die to make an adorable gift holder for them.

To create the doctor gnome, I used the following dies: Girl Gnome Dies (hat/hands/pigtails with bows), Gnome Dies: Girl Gnome Face Add Ons (gnome shape/face/bangs/nose/eyes), Gnome Faces Stamps (smile), and the new Gnome Dies: Medical Add Ons (arms/medical coat/shoes/pill bottle). On the pill bottle, I add a pill sticker from Doodlebug Design Get Well Soon Puffy Icon Stickers.

For the booth that holds the pill jar and the polka dot paper on the large pills, I used decorative paper from Doodlebug Design Happy Healing 6x6 Paper Pad. This paper pad is so cute!! The ribbon banner die is from Build A Booth Dies. I created the large pills to add to the banner using the new Gnome Dies: Medical Add Ons. The white medical bag was also created using the Medical Add Ons. The sentiment is from the new Scrub Life Stamp Set and was cut out using the Scrub Life Outline Dies. I did use the Build A Booth Die: Treat Box Add Ons to form the sides, but it was a bit too narrow to hold the pill bottle. I recommend using the Crate Die instead.

Inside each pill is a strip of paper that you can write whatever messages you want. Isn't that awesome?! I think it's a great present for someone heading off to college or someone who is sick. Whenever they are feeling down or need some encouragement, they can open a pill and read a message from you.
