I Am Roses + Conie Fong Bear with Heart

Happy Tuesday friends! I'm back today with my latest project for I Am Roses featuring this adorable Bear with Heart from Conie Fong. This image is featured on the Draw With Conie YouTube Channel, where Conie walks you step-by-step on how to draw this cutie for yourself! I love the versatility of this bear image because it can be used for so many different occasions. Since Mother's Day is right around the corner, I colored up the heart in pink and handwrote Happy Mother's Day.

I used some soft vintage paper in my stash, and of course added I Am Roses flowers on two of the corners. The large flowers are the R43 Peony, followed by white cherry blossoms, S10m small pink flowers, and small green leaves.

Jaded Blossom: MOO-Chas GRASS-ias!

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom. I bought these individually wrapped Cocoa Creamy Fudge nuggets with a cow on the wrapping and knew I just had to color up the adorable cow that's part of the Cow Patties Stamp Set. Isn't she adorable?! 

I used the XL Topper Die with the 5x5 inch Clear Bags to create this candy holder. I added some vintage papers, and inked the edges with brown chalk just to make the edges a little more distressed (that's a tip for you if you don't have Distress Ink...just used chalk!). I stamped the cow on tan cardstock and colored in parts with Copic markers. The sentiment is from the Cow Patties Stamp Set. To add more dimension, I raised the cow on foam tape.

Today's paper doll inspired set called MISS ANYA STYLE features a stunning Anya with long, gorgeous hair, and comes with various outfit changes! It's so much fun to give all of these dresses unique designs. I decided to cut the dresses from patterned paper. 

I used pattern paper to create the room scene. To give the card some dimension, I raised Miss Anya and the two front dresses on foam tape.

Today, I'm featuring the cutest dog and cat on a wilderness vacation in a set called ADVENTURE PALS. This set even comes with a camper van along with several more accessory stamps. I used my markers, the tree stamp, and the stars to create the forest scene.

I heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder. To create some dimension, I raised all the images on foam tape.

The Greeting Farm April 2024 Stamp Feature Day 1: MERMAID ANYA 2

Happy Tuesday friends! We are on Day 1 of Stamp Features for the April 2024 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Today's set is called MERMAID ANYA 2, and features a gorgeous Anya with her fish and sea horse friends. It comes with 3 sentiments, along with several accessory stamps to create the most mermazing under water scene! All of the images are stamped on Xpress It Blending Card and colored with Copic Markers. I fussy cut the images and then used B14 Copic Marker to color in the outside/inside edges so it looks like a seamless scene.

The background ocean was created with Distress Oxide Ink. I cut a separate strip for the ocean floor, stamped the rocks along the top edge, fussy cut around the rocks, and then used deckle edge scissors to create the top edge. The sea floor and mermaid are raised on foam tape.

Summer is right around the corner and I've got travel/beach fever! I saw this adorable image from Conie Fong called Summer Flamingo and just had to color her up. She's enjoying the warm weather on the beach! I love her summer hat and floatie!

Jaded Blossom April 2024 New Release BLOG HOP!

Happy Thursday! It's time for the Jaded Blossom April 2024 Release! To celebrate, we are having a little hop to showcase the fabulous projects created by the Design Team. If you are here from Julee's Blog, then you are in the right place. If you are just passing through, please start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing! I have the complete line up at the bottom of this post.

I created a large garage scene so I could include a pink tool cabinet, girl gnome, and a pink/chrome motorcycle. This girl gnome has the most awesome garage ever! I used the Diamond Plate Stencil with Hero Arts white pigment ink for a subtle wall background. The tool cabinet was created using the Build A Booth Die with the new Gnome Dies: Tool Add Ons. To create the gnome, I used the Girl Gnome Dies with the Gnome Dies: Leg Add Ons, and then added accessories from the new Gnome Dies: Motorcycle Add Ons and Gnome Dies: Tool Add Ons (bangs under the headscarf). 

 

 

The wall hanging was created using the Square Internal Scallops Dies 1 with one of the sentiments from Bad To The Bone. I raised the top and bottom part of the tool cabinet on foam tape for extra dimension. The motorcycle is also raised on foam tape.

Today, I used the Tulips Stamp Set (part of the Monthly Spotlight) with the Aloha Word Die. I stamped the tulips and leaves on some pattern paper and then fussy cut out the tulips and leaves. I cut the word Aloha from the same pattern paper.

I used foam tape behind the tulips to give them extra dimension. To raise the word Aloha, I cut several from chipboard and glued them on top of each other.
