Jaded Blossom: Life Is Better Off Road!

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom. We had an awesome New Mini Release yesterday featuring the Car Dies: Off Road Vehicle, The Road Less Traveled Stamp Set + Outline Dies, and the Tire Tracks Stencil. For yesterday's release, I made a pink Barbie jeep. Today, I went with a masculine card and created a blacked out jeep with chrome license plate.

I love the versatility of Jaded Blossom products and that you can go girlie or more masculine. They are AWESOME! I can't wait to see what you do with this new Off Road Vehicle Die. The jeep and sentiment are raised on foam tape for extra dimension.

Jaded Blossom Off Road Vehicle Mini Release!

Happy Thursday! It's time for the Jaded Blossom Off Road Vehicle Mini Release! To celebrate, we are having a little hop to showcase the fabulous projects created by the Design Team. I have the complete line up at the bottom of this post.

I created a girlie card and made a pink jeep! For the background, I used the new Tire Tracks Stencil with some Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink on top of patterned heart paper. It's definitely some pink overload happening, haha!

 

The sentiment is from The Road Less Traveled Stamp Set and was cutout using the Outline Die. I raised the jeep and sentiment on foam tape for extra dimension.

I Am Roses March 2024 Challenge: ANYTHING GOES!

I needed a "hello" card so I combined some wood cutouts from Diamond Press with the gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses. I used a pink Posca Paint Pen to paint the word hello and white acrylic paint for the wood frame. The paper is from Doodlebug Design.

 

The large two-tone pink flowers are the R43 Peony. I then added white cherry blossoms, S11 yellow small flowers, S10 pink small flowers, and tiny leaves. To finish off the card, I added pink Doodlebug Design enamel dots.

Jaded Blossom: March 2024 New Release BLOG HOP!

Today, I created a volleyball card with a jumping gnome! To create my gnome, I used Gnome Dies, Gnome Dies: Leg Add Ons, Gnome Dies: Sport Add Ons 1, and Gnome Dies: Sport Add Ons 2. 

 

The net paper is from an older Karen Foster Design Sports 6x6 Paper Pad. I trimmed the paper, and added thin white cardstock strips to the top and bottom to form the net. The card base was inked up using Distress Oxide Ink. I raised the gnome and volleyball on foam tape for extra dimension. The sentiment is from the new Have A Ball Gnomie Stamp Set.

Jaded Blossom March 2024 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 2

Happy Tuesday friends! Today, we are on Day 2 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom March 2024 Release. You can grab the "Gotta Have It Now Package" for a discounted amount. If you wait until the release goes live, the bundle price will go up.

There have been a lot of requests for Sport Add Ons to the gnomes, and Jaded Blossom really delivered this month! For Day 2, we are showcasing the new Gnome Dies: Sport Add Ons 2 along with the Have A Ball Gnomie Stamp Set + Outline Dies. My niece and her fiance are very much into golf so I went with a golf theme today. I did some creative coloring to give my gnome a face and neck, and turn him into a young man. 

I used the body shape from Gnome Dies, and colored in the face and neck as show in the below photo.

I cut around the bottom of the face and neck before gluing the body die on top of the beard area. I used hair from Girl Gnome Dies and part of the mustache die from Gnome Dies to create his hair. His little nose is part of the binocular die in the Gnome Dies: Outdoor Add Ons. His arms were created using the leg die in the new set Gnome Dies: Sport Add Ons 2. To create his shorts, I cut two shorts and layered them on top of each other so I could create a top portion with a belt. The belt strap was created using the lacross stick handle from Gnome Dies: Sport Add Ons 1. The buckle is a piece from the trophy die. The belt loops are the little stripes for the bowling pin. The grassy areas were created using Border Dies 2.

I then made the body by using the nutcracker hat from Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 3 and glued that where his beard would normally go. Then I trimmed off the outer parts of the beard and the shoes. His arms and legs were created using the Gnome Dies: Leg Add Ons. The boots are from Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 1.

Today, I combined the CLOVER CLUSTER Stamp Set and Outline Dies with several of the Gnome Dies to create this whimsical St. Patrick's Day card. Isn't he adorable?! The large gold horseshoe, 4 leaf clovers, and "Good Luck" sentiment are all from the Clover Cluster set.

The grassy knoll was created using the grass die in the Mushroom Dies Set. To create the gnome, I used the following dies: Gnome Dies(body, ears, nose, hands), Gnome Dies 2(hair using mustache die, mustache, beard), Gnome Dies: Leg Add Ons(legs), Gnome Dies: St. Patrick's Day Add Ons(hat and gold clover on hat), and Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 2(shoes).
