Conie Fong: CAT FAMILY WITH HEART

Happy Friday friends! I'm so excited for the new venture Conie Fong is trying out. If you haven't seen yet, Conie has created a drawing YouTube Channel with FREE videos walking you step-by-step on how to draw simple images. Her channel is called DRAW WITH CONIE. If you have ever been interested in drawing or need an activity to keep the kids entertained, then head over and Subscribe! She is also loading these images into her ConieFongArt Etsy Store so you can purchase the digital line art to color if you don't want to draw them.

Today's card features the Cat Family with Heart digital line art from the Cat Family Bundle. I printed it on Xpress It Blending Card in the bottom right corner, then cut the paper down to 4.25 x 11 so I could score it in half to create an A2 card (4.25 x 5.5). I colored the cat family with Copic Markers.

I used paper and a sentiment strip from Doodlebug Design Pretty Kitty 6x6 Paper Pad, along with some Doodlebug Design Rainbow Hearts Shape Sprinkles.

The Greeting Farm February 2024 Stamp Feature Day 3: MINI-REMIX SPRING

Happy Thursday friends! We are on the last day of Stamp Features for the February 2024 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Claudette, Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release.

Our next set called MINI-REMIX SPRING comes with two Ians and two Anyas enjoying some fresh air, catching bugs and butterflies, and gardening. Aren't they the cutest?! I knew I wanted to create a scene card to feature all 4 of them. I found this awesome free outdoor landscape printable that was the perfect match!

This set comes with several accessory stamps that I was able to include on the card: the butterflies, grasshopper (left bottom corner), and the flowers. I stamped the elements directly onto the printed paper and used gel pens to color them.

The Greeting Farm February 2024 Stamp Feature Day 2: BIRTHDAY BEARS

Happy Wednesday friends! We are on Day 2 of Stamp Features for the February 2024 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Claudette, Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release.

At The Greeting Farm, nothing is better than receiving birthday wishes from adorable, chubby bears! It's a beary awesome party! BIRTHDAY BEARS comes with two bear images, 2 sentiments, and 3 accessory stamps. I used some Jaded Blossom Dies to create a background scene that would fit both bear images.

I raised the grassy knoll, tree trunk, and both bear images on foam tape for extra dimension. The sentiment is part of the stamp set.

The Greeting Farm February 2024 Stamp Feature Day 1: ANYA IN THAILAND

Today's set called ANYA IN THAILAND has our gorgeous Anya traveling again. She's wearing a traditional thai dress, eating pho, visiting Buddha, and admiring the beautiful elephants. 

I found some digital paper on Etsy to use as my background. Then, I heat embossed one of the sentiments in gold at the top of the card.

Jaded Blossom + I Am Roses: HAPPY EASTER WALL HANGING

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom with gorgeous paper flowers from I Am Roses! I have a bunch of these black/white fabric chalkboard frames from the Dollar Tree. They also just put out their Easter stuff and I bought several Wood Bead Garlands which I cut apart to separate the beads. I combined them to create this cute Easter Wall Hanging. 

I wanted to create a scene on the chalkboard area that matched the shape so I pulled out my heat gun and a butter knife and went to work separating the chalkboard area from the fabric frame. That was a process let me tell ya! I traced the shape onto white cardstock so I could create the cloud background. Then I used the grass die in the Mushroom Die Set and cut two grassy knolls. The Easter Eggs are from the Wheelbarrow Dies: Easter Add Ons. Those adorable bunnies are from the Chubby Bunny Die Set. I wanted little heart noses for the bunnies so I used the small heart dies in the Build A Booth: Valentine Add Ons. The sentiment is from the Carrots For Sale Stamp Set.

After I created the scene on the white cardstock, I glued it to the black chalkboard area. Then I added flowers from I Am Roses. The large flower is the R43 unicorn peony, followed by S3-15 white cherry blossoms, S10 small yellow flowers, R2 mini soft pink roses, and tiny green leaves. The frame came with a twine hanger which I took out of the holes to add on the beads.

I found some wood Easter things at my local Dollar Tree and decided to combine them to create this hanging home decor piece. The beads and bunny were together and I cut them apart to add to the blue wood egg cutout.

To take this wood egg to the next level, I added gorgeous IAR flowers to the top area starting with a large white R43 Peony, followed by some pastel unicorn flowers, small white lilies, S10 pink flowers, white roses, and mini pink/white roses.

Jaded Blossom: FEBRUARY 2024 NEW RELEASE BLOG HOP!

I'm so excited about today's die set called Bicycle and Friends! I mean seriously, how can you not LOVE the adorable doggie, kitty and bunny?! I created a gnome birthday card that included the dog and cat. This set is a lot of FUN!

To create my girl gnome, I used the following: Girl Gnome Dies, Gnome Dies: Girl Scarecrow Add Ons (hat), Gnome Dies: Leg Add Ons, Gnome Friends: Bunny Die (arms), and Gnome-alicious Birthday (shoes). Her little nose came from Octagon Dies: Christmas Add Ons 2. Her eyes are little black enamel dots from Doodlebug Design. I used the grass die from the Mushroom Dies set to create multiple layers of grass. Then I tore some brown cardstock to create a simple dirt trail. The sentiment is from the new Beautiful Ride Stamp Set which I cut out using the coordinating Outline Dies.

There is a lot of cuteness coming in this release! I am in love with the new Gnome Friends: Bunny Die! And, wait until you see what's coming tomorrow! Today, I used the XL Topper Die with the 5x5 Inch Clear Bags to create this fun bunny topper for some bunny marshmallow treats.

I inked up the bunny faces from the new Bunny Face Stencil and fussy cut one row of bunny faces to go above the green grass layer. The carrots came from Gnome Dies: Easter Add Ons 2. I used the North Pole Sign die to create the garden sign, and stamped one of the sentiments from the new Bunny Trail Stamp Set.

I used two stencils along with two stamp sets to create this scene card. I used Copic Markers and Distress Oxide Ink to create the background. Next I came in with the Fish Stencil and Tree Stencil. 

 

The deer and birds are from the Tree Scene Stamp Set. I used one of the sentiments from Happy Trails Gnome Stamp Set to finish off the card.
