Conie Fong: CHRISTMAS PRESENT GNOME

 Happy Wednesday friends! Today, I'm sharing a card using one of Conie Fong's digital images called Christmas Present Gnome and Sentiment Bundle. I LOVE Conie's gnomes and this one is just the sweetest! I printed the image on Xpress It Blending Card and colored him with Copic markers.

I used a scallop border die from My Favorite Things on some paper I bought at Hobby Lobby for the top part of the card. Then I added red/white twine around the decorative paper before adhering to the card. I found some red jingle bells in my stash and tied 3 together. I glued them to the card and added a smaller bell on top of the larger bells to hide the middle hole.

The Design Team was challenged to combine the newly released stamps with products previously released to give you inspiration on how the TLC stamps and dies can be mixed together.

For my card today, I combined the new Jingle Time Digital Stamp Set with the pre-colored images that are included in the Chilly Fun Slimline Stock Paper Pack. I love that TLC included a sheet of pre-colored images in the Chilly Fun pack. It makes creating cards easy and fun! 

 For this slimline scene card, I cut the shape of the background 3 times from white cardstock using the largest die in the Zinnia Slimline Die Set. I inked up some clouds on the 1st white background. Then I tore the other 2 white die-cuts to create snowy mountain layers and an icy pond. The sentiment is from the new Warm & Fuzzy Unicorn Stamp Set. I raised the middle snow layer and the fairy on foam tape for extra dimension. The trees and fairy were colored with Copic Markers. The additional characters are digitally colored images from the Chilly Fun Paper Pack.

Jaded Blossom Black Friday Release & Sale!

 Happy Friday friends! I hope you had a relaxing and fun Thanksgiving yesterday! It's time for the Black Friday Release and Sale over at Jaded Blossom! Here is a link to the STORE for those of you eager to shop!

Jaded Blossom has released eight fun new items for Black Friday! On Wednesday I showcased the Gnome Dies: Hanukkah Add Ons with the Happy Hanukkah Stamps. You can check out that post HERE.

Today, I'm sharing a large tag I created using the new Gnome Dies: Church Add Ons with the Christmas Blessings Stamp Set. I found this Angel ornament at Target and I thought this tag would go perfectly with her.

 

By using the Scallop Caddy Die, I can create a larger tag to fit the girl gnome and a sentiment. I used the Girl Gnome Dies to create the gnome body. The hat is from the Gnome Dies: Spring Add Ons. I heat embossed the sentiment from Christmas Blessings on red cardstock to go along the bottom of the tag. The crosses and the angel are from the Gnome Dies: Church Add Ons.
 

Since this is a large tag, I have room to write a Scripture on the back of the tag along with the name of the recipient.

I Am Roses SALE + Conie Fong Sunflower Pumpkin Gnome

 HAPPY THANKSGIVING friends! I hope you are enjoying some great food and wonderful company. We are celebrating with my hubby's family which is always a lot of fun. I'll definitely be wearing something stretchy today, haha!

Since it's Thanksgiving, I'm posting a card using the gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses with an adorable digital image from Conie Fong called SUNFLOWER PUMPKIN GNOME. Isn't he just the sweetest gnome ever?! And he worked out perfectly for this holiday. 

I printed this cute gnome on Xpress It Blending Card and colored him with Copic Markers.

 For the flowers, I used an R43 orange peony as my focal point. Next, I added white cherry blossoms, followed by S10 green small flowers and orange small flowers. Finally, I added in L0-2 Tiny Green Leaves.

The decorative paper is from PhotoPlay Gnome For The Holidays 6x6 Paper Pad. The little sentiment square is from Doodlebug Design. I used a Circle Scallop Die from Jaded Blossom to frame the image.

Jaded Blossom has released eight fun new items for Black Friday! The first couple of sets I'm showcasing today are the Gnome Dies: Hanukkah Add Ons with the Happy Hanukkah Stamps. I created a bag topper for these chocolate coins.

I used shiny gold cardstock with some dark blue cardstock. These dies work with the Gnome Dies, but since I was creating a bag topper I just used the die pieces on their own.

Conie Fong: Have A Very Gnome Christmas!

 Happy Sunday friends! I'm working on some Christmas cards over the weekend, and thought it would be fun to combine several Conie Fong Digis onto one card to create a scene. I used 3 different digi sets: Christmas Gnomes Bundle (gnomes with presents), Christmas Stocking Bundle (pine cone branch), and Christmas Tree Gnome (sentiment).

I recently saw some Christmas Bokeh digital papers on Creative Fabrica, and decided they would make a fantastic background. I did all my layering in MS Word. I just copied the paper into a word document. Next, I used the PNG file of the pine cone branch from the Christmas Stocking Bundle, and copy/pasted into the same word document. Once I click on LAYOUT, then WRAP TEXT, then click IN FRONT OF TEXT, I can move the digital image over the Bokeh paper and place it where I want it. I also turned it a little so it would fit across the top of the Bokeh paper. I did the same with the sentiment and overlayed it on top of the Bokeh paper. Next, I printed the design onto Copic Xpress It Blending Card, cut it to 4" x 5.25", and colored the pine cone branch with Copic markers. 

Next, I printed the gnomes from the Christmas Gnomes Bundle at about 2 inches tall and fussy cut all 3 of them out. I colored each one with Copic Markers. Next, I cut pieces of white/gold twine and glued a piece behind each gnome hat. I added foam tape to the back of each gnome, and adhered to my card. I trimmed the twine and glued the top of it to the pine cone branch. Then I tied 3 twine bows and added them to the top. 

I had a lot of fun creating this card, but coloring those tiny gnomes with my bad eyesight was a struggle, LOL! Next time, I would create a bigger card....maybe 5x7 so I can make the gnomes larger. I hope this inspires you to mix and match some of Conie's digis to create some of your own awesome scenes!

The Greeting Farm November Stamp Feature Day 3: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOUSE

 Happy Friday everyone! We are on our last day of Stamp Features for the November 2022 New Release at The Greeting Farm. The Greeting Farm November Release Stamp Feature Day 2: HEHE KITTIES

 Happy Thursday everyone! We are on Day 2 of Stamp Features for the November 2022 New Release at The Greeting Farm. The Greeting Farm November Stamp Feature Day 1: ANYA IN S. KOREA

 Happy Wednesday everyone! We are on Day 1 of Stamp Features for the November 2022 New Release at The Greeting Farm. Anya is back to traveling, and this month she's in South Korea. This next set called ANYA IN S. KOREA features Anya wearing a traditional Hanbok, and comes with several fabulous accessory stamps. I am so in LOVE with this set, especially since I am half Korean!! I think Marie did an awesome job representing Korean culture in a stamp set. 

 

I found these awesome Korean Digital Papers on Etsy. They were the perfect fit! The red frame is a die from Diamond Press. The corner die is from Whimsy Stamps. I raised the frame, Anya, and the sentiment on foam tape for dimension. 

I colored Anya to match a photo of me in my Hanbok that was taken 15 years ago.

 Today I created a Thank You card using a slimline card base and sentiment panel from a Diamond Press Card Kit. To kick it up a notch, I added gorgeous I Am Roses flowers around the sentiment. 

 

 The large white flowers are R-43 Peonies. I love to use these flowers as my focal point. I then surrounded them with cherry blossoms and some of the smaller flowers.

 

 
To finish off the card, I added die-cut leaves from Diamond Press, along with IAR white leaves and IAR mini green leaves.
