I Am Roses + Conie Fong's Bauble Gnome

Happy Friday friends! Today's card is for I Am Roses, and features their gorgeous paper flowers with this adorable digital image from Conie Fong called Bauble Gnome. I just love his little smile! Isn't he adorable?

I printed this gnome large so he could take center stage. He's about 5.25 inches tall, which made him a lot easier to color.

Jaded Blossom: MONSTER TAGS FOR MARSHMALLOW TREATS!

With Halloween right around the corner, I'm still working on some spooky treat ideas. If you have children or plan on throwing a party, then be sure to throw together some adorable monster treats. Jaded Blossom Stamps and Dies make creating the perfect party favors easy peasy! To create these cute tags, I used the Rounded Tag Die. I cut 3 pieces from black cardstock, and then separate pieces in purple, orange, and bright green. I drew the drip lines onto the colored cardstock and fussy cut with scissors. I used the Sprinkle Stencil and one of the circles from the 80's Stencil to ink the top of the tag. Then I added smaller dots using markers.
The eyeballs are from Halloween Candies *Grid Style*, and the sentiment is from Monster Munchies.

 

I found a great idea online to create monsters with rice crispy treats. To make it even easier, I used prepackaged rice crispy treats. I melted white almond bark, added food coloring, and spread the coating on the marshmallow treat with a spoon. I found a plastic container of sprinkles in various colors at Walmart and dipped each treat in coordinating colored sprinkles. Then I added large candy eyes which I also found at Walmart.

I used the Coffee Slider Die from Jaded Blossom to create the gift card holder. The java love paper is a digital file from Etsy. The peach polka dot paper is from My Mind's Eye.

Jaded Blossom: GNOME HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY RELEASE!

 Happy Tuesday everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's Gnome Halloween Costume Party Release! Now, if you're here from Jamie's Blog, you're in the right place. If you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing. I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

  For my first  project I created a Medieval scene card using a castle clipart that was part of a digital paper pack I bought off Etsy. I sized the castle 3" tall, printed it and fussy cut it out. I used Distress Oxide Inks and a stencil to create the cloud background and Copic Markers to create the landscape.

I used the Gnome Dies and Girl Gnome Dies to create the gnome bodies. Then I used the Gnome Dies: Halloween Costume Add Ons 1 to create the knight, and the Gnome Dies: Halloween Costume Add Ons 2 to create the princess outfit.

For my 2nd project I created a Unicorn Lollipop Party Favor. I was looking at the Lollipop Die and the circle tab that holds the top part together looked like a gnome nose......sooooooo I did it, LOL! I made it a gnome nose, and added the pigtails and unicorn hat on top of the close tab (aka: nose).

I added sparkle to the gnome hat and unicorn using Wink of Stella clear glitter pen. The sentiment is from the Unicorns and Glitter Stamp Set. 

I found these lollipops at the Dollar Tree that went perfectly with this Unicorn theme!

Jaded Blossom: HALLOWEEN LOLLIPOP HOLDERS

With Halloween right around the corner, I'm still working on those spooky treats. If you have children or plan on throwing a party, then be sure to throw together some frightful and fa-BOO-lous Halloween-themed Lollipop Holders. These come together quickly with Jaded Blossom Stamps and Dies and make the perfect party favors!

For the Ghost Lollipop Holder, I used the ghost from the Gnome Dies: Halloween Add Ons. The sentiment is from Bone Chilling Treats Stamp Set. I cut the sentiment out using the sign die from the Fall Dies Set.

For the Jack-o-Lantern Lollipop Holder I used the stack of pumpkins from the Gnome Dies: Fall Add Ons, and the cat from the Gnome Dies: Halloween Add Ons. The paper is from Doodlebug Design.

Every year, Marie designs a new Anya for Christmas. Say hello to HOLIDAY ANYA 10! I love her faux fur hooded shawl! She comes with a sled so she can deliver presents to her family and friends! She flew off the shelves, but don't fret....more are on the way to the Store.

The fluffy stuff on her hood and pom poms is called Liquid Applique. Once you apply it and heat it with a heat gun, the areas puff up. I used Distress Oxide Inks to create the dark blue sky. Then I added a snow border at the bottom using a stitched die from the Jaded Blossom Slimline Dies set. The sign was created using one of the dies in the Jaded Blossom Fall Dies set. I raised Anya and the sled of presents on foam tape.

 I'm back today with another Halloween card. This time I used this adorable image from Conie Fong called Witchy Broomstick Gnome. Isn't she just the cutest witch ever?!! I printed the image on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers including the night sky. I followed a coloring video tutorial HERE on the moonlit sky from Amy Young of Sweet November Stamps. She used green on her sky, but since I colored part of the witch green I went with blue.

I created some party-themed projects for this awesome release! I used the Celebrate with Cake Ephemera to create these 3 cupcake toppers. I'm turning 50 this year and this Card Making Suite makes creating customized party decorations easy peasy! Since the ephemera is pre-colored, I just had to cut out the pieces and glue to the sticks. I did use a glitter pen to add some sparkle to parts of the ephemera and a coat of glaze to the frosting.

 

 

For my next project, I created a shaker card using the Celebrate Frame Die with the beautiful Celebrated Times Slimline Stock Paper Pack. The sprinkles are also included in this Card Making Suite!

For today's project, I created two Halloween Gnome Cupcake Toppers. I had so much fun with these! 

I used the Coffin Die with RIP Stamp Set to create the coffin behind the gnomes. Then I used the new Gnome Dies: Halloween Add Ons with the Girl Gnome Dies and the Gnome Dies to create my Witch Gnome and Vampire Gnome. 

 To create the sign, I used a die from Fall Dies. The sentiments are from the new Bone Chilling Treats Stamp Set. They went with these cupcake toppers perfectly!

 
Do you see the gnome's teeth? I used the cat ears die to create red vampire teeth.
