Conie Fong: GNOME WITH BALLOON

Happy Monday friends! Today is my bestie's 50th birthday!! Happy Birthday Letitia! I met this amazing girl when we were in high school in our yearbook elective class, and we just clicked! Over 30 years later and she is still my bestie! So to honor and recognize her, the friend who brings color and joy to my world, I made a birthday card using Conie Fong's GNOME WITH BALLOON.

The cloud layers were created using a Lawn Fawn Cloud Border Die. I added color to the edges with Distress Oxide Ink. The bottom blue cloud panel, along with the gnome, are raised on foam tape for extra dimension.

I Am Roses + Conie Fong Gnome with Heart

 Happy Sunday friends! Today's card is for I Am Roses, and features their gorgeous flowers with an adorable Conie Fong digi called GNOME WITH HEART. I just love this sweet gnome! He's so chubby and cute!

I used some patterned paper from Doodlebug Design called Love Notes. I printed the image on Xpress It Blending Card and colored it with Copic markers. Then I added ribbon and a bow on one corner, and framed the image with the beautiful flowers.

Jaded Blossom: Octagon Critter Release!

Happy Wednesday friends! We have a special small Octagon Critter themed release going on over at Jaded Blossom!

I made several items with this new release! First up, I created two Octagon Boxes. I combined the Critter Add On with the Halloween Add Ons to create a seal and a walrus! To create the box, you will need to purchase the Octagon Box Die also. The sentiment strips were created in MS Word. I will be gluing those to the back of the box, but I added them to the top so you could see the pun for each one.

 

 My next set of cards feature the new Large Glasses Dies! For the first card I layered 6 die cut frame pieces to create depth. I glued vellum in between the first and second layers of the glasses frame to make them foggy. The little pink hearts were cut out using a die from the Gnome Dies: Valentine Add Ons. The awesome sentiment is from Kawaii Sentiments 2.

To create this next card, I used a free online Eye Chart Maker. You type in your text and then the site will create a PDF to download. Once I downloaded it, I did copy and paste certain sections into MS Word so I could add additional space between the SPEC and TACULA for the eye glasses to fit. I cut the die from gold cardstock and then glued additional layers cut from black cardstock behind the gold to create more depth.

For my last card, I cut multiple layers of the cat-eye glasses from purple cardstock and glued them together to again create dimension. The I covered the top layer with Wink of Stella glitter and added jewels. I cut two of the black frames and then glued them to some cardstock from the Jaded Blossom Celebration 6x6 Paper Pad. The sentiment strip was cut out from a piece of paper in the Doodlebug Design Fairy Garden 6x6 Paper Pad.

Jaded Blossom: FLORAL HEART

 Happy Friday friends! I'm back today sharing my card for Jaded Blossom using some stamps from the newest release. It was an amazing release as always and just in time for Valentine's Day! I used this gorgeous stamp from the FLORAL HEART Stamp Set for the focal point. 

I stamped the heart using Versamark Embossing Ink. Then I rubbed chalk over the flowers and leaves. To finish it off, I stamped the sentiment HELLO from the Floral Heart Set, and MY LOVE from the XOXO Stamp Set with embossing ink and heat embossed them in gold.

The Greeting Farm January Stamp Feature Day 3: BREEZY COUPLE

 Happy Friday friends! We are on Day 3 of Stamp Features for the JANUARY 2022 RELEASE at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets! Claudette, Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release.

Today's set is another one is our couple series called BREEZY COUPLE. You can use both Anya or Ian or just the girl or boy separately since they are individual stamps. The versatility is endless! For this card I used Anya and the little dandelion accessory stamps.

 I decided to pull out my chalks and Versamark Embossing Ink. I haven't used this technique in a while, but I love the soft no-line coloring you get by rubbing chalk over the embossing ink.

The Greeting Farm January Stamp Feature Day 2: MICE SHELVING

 Happy Thursday friends! We are on Day 2 of Stamp Features for the JANUARY 2022 RELEASE at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets! Claudette, Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release.

Today's set is called MICE SHELVING. In real life I'm not a big fan of little critters, but these mice are just the cutest and sweetest things ever! I love the versatility of this set. You can use it for slimline cards, A2 cards, detailed cards or even CAS cards. The possibilities are endless! Earlier in the week I used elements from this set to create a slimline card. Today I went Clean and Simple!

Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Ink

I used the Tim Holtz Bricked Stencil with Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Ink to create a partial brick pattern on the white cardstock. Then I stamped the various images I wanted to use from the set onto Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored with Copic Markers. Finally, I fussy cut each of the pieces and raised some of them on foam tape for extra dimension.

I used a die from Heffy Doodle called Quilted Heart Background Die to create the wallpaper for my living room scene. The heart paper is from Doodlebug Design Puppy Love 6x6 Paper Pad. To create the white baseboard I just cut a strip of white paper and scored two lines.

My card today, I used the BLESSINGS MOUSE DIGITAL STAMPS, SINCERELY YOURS DIGITAL PAPER, and the AZTEC SUNSHINE CIRCLE DIES.

I colored the sweet mice with Copics. To create the scene, I cut 3 stitched circles....one from the pink striped paper, one from the black/white polka dot paper, and one from white paper. Then I just trimmed them to create a little living room scene.

Jaded Blossom January 2022 Challenge: ANYTHING GOES!

 Hi friends and Happy 2022! It's the first Sunday of the month and that means we have a brand new challenge at Jaded Blossom! It's been a tough 2021 for many of my family and friends. I'm praying for a happier and peaceful 2022.

 Our next challenge is an easy one:

Since yesterday was New Years Day, I created a Wine Tag for the Sparkling Cider we bought to bring in the new year with my family.
