Love Cynthia Stamps: I'm Always Here For You

Happy Saturday everyone! I've fallen in LOVE with these awesome stamps from Love Cynthia! She is an Artist who lives in France, and she creates adorable characters that are perfect for planner pages, cards, scrapbook layouts....pretty much anything and everything crafty!

She is currently running a contest for the month of October with various themes each week. At the end of the month she will pick 2 winners to receive 50 EUROS shop credits!! How awesome is that?! The theme for the 4th and final week is "OH, THANK YOU". This round is all about gratitude, so we needed to create a thank you card for someone.

I decided to make an Easel Card so I would have room for a larger sentiment. This card features a stamp set called I'm Always Here For You! I decided to make a card featuring me and my best friend. She and I have been friends since high school. After graduating we both went separate ways, and at one point lost touch, but then about 7 or 8 years ago we found each other again. It really was like no time had passed. About 5 years ago, I moved to the same state as her, and we now live about 50 minutes from each other. Not close enough if you ask me!!

Copics:
GIRL 1 (on left):
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, E15
Brown Hair: E42, E47, E49
Red Collar: R24, R27, R37

Skin: E11, E13, E15, E18
Orange Heart/Pocket: YR02, YR04, YR09, E19
Plaid Dress: YR04, E19, BG13, BG18

The sentiment underneath the girls is from the same set. The papers are from my stash. The gorgeous paper flowers are from I Am Roses. I used a larger sentiment from Penny Black for the bottom panel.

Be sure to head over to the Love Cynthia Facebook Group and play along if you own some of the stamps. She also shares FREEBIES in the group! Definitely check out the Love Cynthia Store and add some of these adorable sets to your collection. You will LOVE them!

Love Cynthia Stamps: Happy Holidays!

Happy Sunday everyone!

The theme for the 3rd Week is "COLOR IT". This challenge is about sharing how you color your Love Cynthia Stamps.

Since it is a coloring challenge I decided to color all of the images on the Happy Holidays stamp set. And to top it all off, I included a quick tutorial on how I color hair using one of my fave Copic Combos. I stamped all the images on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and of course used my Copic Markers.

 Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, E15
Brown Hair: E43, E77, E49
Black Hair: C3, C7, Black
Red: R24, R27, R29, R39
Green: YG23, YG25, YG17, YG67, G28
White: C1, C2, C3, Colorless Blender
  Brown: E13, E23, E25, E29
Black: C6, C7, C9
Snowman Arms & Antlers: E42. E43, E44
Plaid Scarf: R24, R39, YG23, G28

I used some papers in my stash. The snowy hillside was made using the Lawn Fawn Landscape Stitched Hillside Backdrop Die. The tree die is from Marianne Creatables.

And here is a quick tutorial on how I did the hair on one of the Happy Girls. I first lay down my darkest color. In this case E49. You have to practice those flicks ladies to get the thin line. You use the very tip and hold your pen up high almost like you are flicking only air.
Next I come in with my medium color (E77) and expand the flicks towards the center.

Finally, I come in with my lightest color (E43) and flick again towards the center. I do not come in and just color in the white areas in a circular motion. I keep with the flicks so I don't lose the contrast. If you go too heavy with the light color and lose the darker flicks then just come back in with E77 and add a few more flicks to get some of the contrast back.

Be sure to head over to the Love Cynthia Facebook Group and play along if you own some of the stamps. She also shares FREEBIES in the group! Definitely check out the Love Cynthia Store and add some of these adorable sets to your collection. You will LOVE them!

The Greeting Farm: Best Friends!

Happy Monday everyone! As you may have seen there were some awesome sets released at The Greeting Farm yesterday. Don't forget there is a BLOG HOP where 1 lucky winner will take home all 4 sets!! All you have to do is leave a comment on each participating DT's Blog post for a chance to win! It's a short hop list so not time consuming at all!

Today I'm showcasing BEST FRIENDS. I think she is so gorgeous with her beautiful eyes and fall wardrobe! She also has a coordinating die so you don't have to fussy cut her out. The thing I LOVE about the TGF dies is that they cut very close to the image. I don't like a huge white border around my images so I generally don't order coordinating dies, but the ones from TGF are AWESOME!!

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, E15
Hair: E43, E77, E47, E49
Eyes: E43
Teal: BG11, BG13, BG72, BG75
Tights: E25, E27, E29
Boots: E42, E43, E44, E47
Scarf: YR04, E19, BG13, BG75, E25, E29

I used some older decorative papers from my stash. I watercolored the background behind my image with distress inks. To finish it off I added some pearls in the corners. The fabulous sentiment is from Impression Obsession.

Be sure to check out all the NEW RELEASES in The Greeting Farm Store. See you back here on Wednesday when I showcase Honor Students. If you are a Harry Potter fan you're gonna love it!!

Hugs,
Rosie
