The Paper Shelter~SUMMERTIME!

Summer, Summer, Summertime....Time to sit back and unwind!

Man, it feels great to be on summer break and get to sleep in and just have some lazy days! It's been rather chilly here in Texas for summer, but I know in a few weeks we'll be back to 100+ degree weather so I'm trying to enjoy these cooler days as much as possible. The only bad thing was yesterday my little guy start swim lessons at 10:00am and it was only 60 degrees out. All the kids were shivering in the water and several were in tears!! It definitely was traumatizing for a bunch of them!! Hopefully the water is warmer today!!

Today also starts a new challenge at The Paper Shelter. These digi stamps and digi papers are AMAZING!! The files even come with colored images so you can make your cards quickly and easily....with no coloring!

Our theme this week is:

SUMMERTIME!

At The Paper Shelter, there is a new challenge every week along with an awesome prize up for grabs!! What's the prize?

If you play with a TPS image and win, you get a $30 gift certificate to spend in The Paper Shelter STORE.

If you play with a different image, you have a chance of  winning three digis of your choice. You can view all the challenge rules HERE.

For my card today, I used this new digi called Lifeguard on Duty 2. She totally reminds me of my friend Lisa who LOVES the beach and just being close to the water. She just needed long blonde hair and it would have been a perfect match! I even made this card is some of Lisa's favorite colors: pink and blue!

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E11, E11
Hair: Y11, YR23, YR27
Blue: BG10, BG18, BG53, BG57
Black: C3, C5, C7, N0, N2
Chair: R81, R83, R85, E41, E42, E43

I used some dps from Carta Bella Summer Lovin' 6x6 Paper Pad. The oval was cut out using Spellbinders Floral Ovals Nestabilities Die. The teal ribbon is from Walmart. The gorgeous blue flower is from Michael's Recollection brand, and the pink flowers are from Petaloo. I used stickers for the "Fun" sentiment and pink cloud. Those clouds in the top corners were made from a Lea'bilities Die Set called Corners Landscape.

To enter our challenge, head over to The Paper Shelter Blog and link up your card. Be sure to use a new project please....no backlinking. This challenge will run until Tuesday, June 17th.

Have a great week!
Rosie :)
