Alicia and her little cat!

Happy Thursday y'all!! Today I'm here with a special card and post! I was asked by Alicia, the owner of Alicia's Little Shop, to make a card using any digi in her shop. I'm so flattered that she like my cards enough to ask me....Thank You Alicia!!

In addition, today is my best friend's birthday and I'm taking her shopping....HAPPY BIRTHDAY LETITIA!! I've know Letitia since high school where we bonded almost instantly. We were inseparable in high school. It's pretty amazing that when I moved to Texas I happen to find a house less than 30 minutes from her!!

Today, I'm here to showcase this cutie called Alicia and her little Cat!! Isn't the kitten adorable?!! He's so squishy....I just want to squeeze him, hee hee! I colored the image with Copics on Neenah Cardstock.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11
Lips: R22, R27
Eyes: G21, G24, G28
Headband/Sweater: R81, R83, R85
Jeans: B91, B93, B95
Cat/Boots: C3, C5, C7

I used some CUTE dps from Echo Park Sweet Day....love this paper pad! I distressed the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. The wide dark pink ribbon is from Walmart. The thin pink ribbon with the XOs is from Martha Stewart. I just glued it on top. My double bow was made with my Bow Easy tool...LOVE that thing!!

The sentiment is a sticker from Webster's Pages Mini Messages Best Friends. The flowers are from various places and the pearls are from Close to my Heart.

I raised the image and the sentiment on pop-dots....you know me and my addiction to pop-dots!

I hope you enjoyed my card today. I had a great time coloring up this awesome digi. Alicia recently added a new digi (for you "Alice in Wonderland" lovers!!). Head on over to Alicia's Little Shop and grab your CUTE digis today!!

Hugs,
Rosie :)

TGF Double Take Tuesday~~ Purple & Green

It's Tuesday and you know what that means, right?!! It's time for another great Double Take Tuesday at The Greeting Farm!! The challenge this week is:

Purple and Green!!

I'm not sure why I don't use this combo very much...maybe because I find it difficult to find purple and green dp together. Who knows, but I like it! For my card today I used a newly released stamp called CC Friday Night...she was lots of fun to color!!

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, chalk
Hair: E43, E44, E47
Purple: V12, V15, V17
Black: C3, C5, C7
Green: G14

I searched my scrapbook room and finally found some purple and green dp....some of it is from a Colorbok pad I found at Walmart and some was in my stash. That awesome purple grosgrain ribbon also came from Walmart. The flowers are from Recollections and WOC. The pearls are from Close to my Heart.

I'm back to using my pop-dots again, haha! This time they are raising up the panel with CC Friday Night on it.

Here's how to play:

*You must use a TGF stamp (rubber, digi, or clear) as your main image.
*Entries must be uploaded via InLinkz on The Greeting Farm Blog no later than February 4th, 2013 at noon CST. You can add a direct link to your entry from your personal blog, SCS gallery, Flickr or TGF galleria.
(If the InLinkz tool is missing, feel free to link your submission URL in the comment section.)
*The fabulous prize: A random participant will be selected to win a digital image of choice from the TGF store.
***But WAIT! Each week, our friends have the opportunity to DOUBLE that prize to either two digis or, you can trade those two digis for a SINGLE rubber stamp of choice, as long as we have 20 or more players each week, so encourage all your friends and family to play along!***

Now go get your Purple and Green on and join us at The Greeting Farm! We love seeing your creations and the more who play, the bigger the prize!! Have a great week!
Hugs,
Rosie :)

Inspiration Monday~~FRAME IT!!

Happy Monday folks! I hope you all had a great weekend. They always seem to fly by so quickly, don't they? We didn't do much this weekend. Just spent time together as a family. Saturday is usually my day to sleep in, but my little guy decided to wake up at 6am (never happens during the week when he has school)!! Then proceeded to go and get on the computer...what?!! So there's no surprise that by early evening he was having a little melt down, haha!

On Sunday we went to church in the morning and then just hung out at home. Since we moved here back in August we've been looking for a church and finally decided on a church that felt like family from the beginning. It has an awesome Pastor and his message hits home every time. I usually end up a bawling mess by the time it 's over. It's an amazing feeling finding a church to call home! It just clicked for me and the hubby right away and Isaiah loves it!

Well, enough about me! Leave me a comment on how your weekend was. I would love to hear from you! Time to get on with our challenge this week at La-La Land Crafts! The challenge this week is:

FRAME IT!!

I used one of the newly released stamps from CHA called Coloring Marci. The little bird that's stamped on the coloring pad is from the Brick Wall Set. I pretty much LOVE the entire CHA release!! I'm telling ya, the releases just get better and better. It's such a blessing to be a part of the LLLC DT and I draw so much inspiration from my fellow team members. I know I sound kind of mushy, but I really do love those gals!

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11
Lips: R22
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Headband/Smock: B21, B29, YG41, YG45, B18, B24
Shirt: Y02, Y18, YR23
Copic Marker: N0, C3, Black
Paper Pad: E41, E42, N0

The gorgeous dp on my card came from Echo Park "For the Record 2" 6x6 paper pad....LOVE IT!! I also used some La-La Land Crafts Dies: Scallop Border and Filigree Corner.

Did you see I made my own Polaroid Frame? I just cut a rectangle and then traced a square where I wanted it and used my X-acto knife to cut out the square. The sentiment and pearls are from Close To My Heart. The beautiful yellow, polka dot ribbon came from Walmart. I used my trusty Bow Easy to make the perfect bow....definitely a life saver cause I can't tie one worth jack!!

Did you also notice I didn't use any pop-dots...WHAT?!!! What is the world coming to?? I know it's crazy, LOL!

Please check out the La-La Land Crafts Company page and Group page on Facebook. We also have a twitter feed! If you haven't joined our groups yet, you might want to think about it because these are the places Irina announces special sales! :)
In addition, we have a Customer Gallery so be sure to link up so we can oooooh and aaaah over your Marci and Luka creations!

Have a great week and see you back here tomorrow!
Hugs,
Rosie :)

TGF Farm Fresh Friday~~Message Me!

TGIFriday baby!! It's been a long week and I'm sooooo looking forward to family time this weekend....just quality time with my hubby and my son. I fell behind on some of my commitments since I was sick and have been playing catch up for the past couple of weeks. But this week, I was able to catch up a little so I promised my little guy I'm all his this weekend. I'm sure that means a Nerf war somewhere in there, LOL!

Today also brings a new challenge at The Greeting Farm! This week our theme is:

MESSAGE ME!
(use anything with script)

For my card today, I used Sitting Wonderful again....I just love this stamp!! She's colored with Copics on Neenah Cardstock.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Blue: B01, B05
Stardust Stickles

My gorgeous dps came from 2 paper pads: Authentique Essentials Collection and Echo Park Everyday Eclectic. I distressed all the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. The sentiment is also from the Sitting Wonderful set.

The pearls are from Close to my Heart. I found the doily at Walmart in the baking section. The ribbon is also from Walmart. I love grosgrain ribbon and surprisingly Walmart had a nice selection to choose from so I stocked up! Y'all know how I love pop-dots, right? I used them behind some of the scalloped circles, behind Anya, and behind the sentiment. :)

Here's how to play:
  * You must use a TGF stamp (rubber, digi, or clear) as your main image.

* Entries must be uploaded via InLinkz on The Greeting Farm Blog no later than Thursday, January 31st at NOON CST. You can add a direct link to your entry from your personal blog, SCS gallery, Flickr or TGF galleria.
If the InLinkz is not working, please leave your link in the comments section.

* The fabulous prize: A random participant will be selected to win their choice of an in-stock SINGLE RUBBER STAMP OR a 4x6 set! Our prize offering has increased for 2013- we hope you enjoy it!

TGF Double Take Tuesday~~SKETCH!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope your week started off okay. I'm telling you I'm ready for the sickness in our house to go away!! I just got over being sick and now the little one has come down with something even though I've been trying to disinfect everything. Hopefully tomorrow he's feeling better!!

Today we have an awesome Sketch for you for Double Take Tuesday at The Greeting Farm.

For my card today I used a new release called Sitting Wonderful. She comes with all sorts of goodies including a chair and sentiment. I just used her and the little magazine that's part of the set. :) She's colored with Copics on Neenah Cardstock. I just noticed a piece of white paper stuck to her hair, darn it. It's not on the card, but decided to show up for the photo shoot, LOL!

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Bow/Outfit: R81, R83, R85, YR23, YR20, YR23, Y21
Boots: R81, R83, R85:
Magazine: Same as above/Blue (B000)

I used some gorgeous and fun dps from American Crafts Hip Hip Hooray paper pad. The sentiment stamped on the ribbon is from One Little Dreamer called Happy Ending. The side pink border was made using a Martha Stewart Border punch. I used a 1 7/8" scallop punch from The Paper Studio behind the magazine. The yellow corners are made using La-La Land's Filigree Corner Die.

In the side view you can see I raised Anya and some of the other elements on pop-dots for added dimension.

I love Suzanne's Sketch and can't wait to make more cards using it! Don't forget you can play along with us for a chance at winning a prize!!

Here's how to play:

*You must use a TGF stamp (rubber, digi, or clear) as your main image.
*Entries must be uploaded via InLinkz on The Greeting Farm Blog, no later than January 28th, 2013 at noon CST.
Each week, our friends have the opportunity to DOUBLE that prize to either two digis or, you can trade those two digis for a SINGLE rubber stamp of choice, as long as we have 20 or more players each week, so encourage all your friends and family to play along!**

Have a great week and see back here on Friday!
Hugs!!

LLLC Inspiration Monday~~In Stitches!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a lovely weekend! Have you finally had a chance to check out all the FABULOUS new LLLC dies and stamps from CHA?!!  If not, be sure to check out this post:

CHA NEW RELEASE SHOWCASE

All the new dies, stamps and shadow boxes are in the LLLC Store! Be sure to check them out because they are amazing and soooooo adorable!!

Today's Monday so we kick off the week with a new La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Challenge. The theme this week is:

IN STITCHES
(use real or faux stitching)

For my card today, I used the super adorable Sweet Friends Marci. I LOVE her!! She's just so sweet and kinda reminds me of ME when I was little, walking around holding either a teddy bear or doll. :)

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Red: R22, R24, R29, R39
Purple: V12, V15, V17
Panda/Boots: C3, C5, C7

For my card I used some CUTE dps from Echo Park called Little Girl and I distressed the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink. I love the pinks, purples and blues on the dps. I also used some new La-La Land Crafts Dies:

For my faux stitching, I just used a black marker and drew some lines on the pink dp. I don't know if you can see it, but the dies also have some faux stitching lines around the outer edges....it's how the die is made. :)

The super sweet sentiment is from One Little Dreamer Date Night. I just recently found One Little Dreamer and I LOVE her sentiments!! I had to get a bunch of sets and even got the Scrabble Tile set that I still need to ink up. :) The heart stickers are from K&Company. You can see in the side view that I raised Marci and the top Heart Banner on pop-dots for added dimension.

Now don't forget there will be more inspiration of Stitching on the LLLC Blog on Friday. We also have a Customer Gallery so I hope you play along with us and upload a card.

Have a great week and see you back here soon!
Hugs,
Rosie :)

Farm Fresh Friday~~PUNCH IT!

Welcome to another awesome FARM FRESH FRIDAY challenge!
There were lots of great entries from last week's challenge...keep up the great work!! You all are so amazing! Be sure to check out The Greeting Farm Blog to see if you were the winner from the "International Thank You Day" challenge.

Today starts a brand new Farm Fresh Friday Challenge! For those that don't know me very well, I am a collector of punches and dies....okay, okay, the correct term is "hoarder", LOL! I don't know what it is, but I just LOVE them! If you saw all the Martha Stewart punches I have, you'd probably have a heart attack...I just can't help myself!
So, the FFF Challenge for you today is:
PUNCH IT!
All you have to do is add a punch or die to your card....easy, peasy, right?!

For my card today, I used Awareness Anya. She's colored with Copics and I paper-pieced her skirt. I found out a few months ago that my Uncle has terminal brain cancer so I colored her ribbon gray. Although I don't see or talk to him much, he's been on my mind quite a bit lately. I just wanted to do something for him.
 Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Top of dress: YR23, YR21
Ribbon/Boots: C3, C5
I'm not sure if you saw the chart Joni put up on TGF blog a couple of weeks ago from Choose Hope showing the different cancers and coordinating ribbon color so I'm going to post it here.

For my card I used some amazing dps from Authentique 6x6 Essentials Collection. I hardly ever use yellow, but I love it paired with the grey. For the border around Anya, I used one of my Martha Stewart punches called Flourish Lace. The corner die is from La-La Land Crafts and is called Filigree Corner Die. The grey pearls and white grosgrain ribbon are from Close to my Heart. The flowers are a combo from Recollections and The Paper Studio.

You can see in the side view that I raised Awareness Anya on pop-dots.

Here's how to play:

* You must use a TGF stamp (rubber, digi, or clear) as your main image.

* Entries must be uploaded via InLinkz on The Greeting Farm Blog no later than Thursday, January 24th at NOON CST. You can add a direct link to your entry from your personal blog, SCS gallery, Flickr or TGF galleria. If InLinks is not working, please leave your link in the comments section.

* The fabulous prize: A random participant will be selected to win their choice of an in-stock SINGLE RUBBER STAMP OR a 4x6 set! Our prize offering has increased for 2013- we hope you enjoy it!
Have a great weekend!! TGIF baby!!
Hugs,
Rosie :)

Designed To Color Challenge-METALLICS!

Did you see there is a new monthly challenge up at Designed to Color! Be sure to head over to the DTC Blog to see who last month's winner is!!

The Challenge this month is:

METALLICS

Our sponsor this month is Dilly Beans Digi Stamps!

Megan Suarez is the master genius behind these kooky and adorable images.  With skulls that make you awww to mermaids full of flowers, her images are just gorgeous and totally one of a kind!  Great for paper crafting in all aspects!

The winner of this challenge will receive THREE images of their choice from the Dilly Beans shop!

For my altered 5x7 wood plaque from Walmart, I used Dilly Beans #335 Girl and Butterflies. I think she's gorgeous and perfect for various mixed media projects! She's colored with Copics, chalk and stickles.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11
Eye: G28, G24, G21, Black, Inksentials White
Lips: R24, R20
Cheek: Chalk
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Butterflies: BG02, BG05, B15, V17, RV13, RV19, Stickles
Background behind hair: Chalk

I found an awesome paper pad called DCWV The Colorful Life Stack. It's based on artwork by Donna Estabrooks and definitely makes creating mixed media pieces less time-consuming and less messy! I painted the 5x7 wood plaque black and then just cut the paper and glued it down....easy peasy!! I also found a roll of Art Impressions Medium Aluminum and decided to try it out. I used my LLLC Filigree Corner Die and LLLC Butterflies Set 1. The dies didn't cut through the aluminum. Instead, it embossed it so I then cut around the outside. I'm sure if I used a shim or did several passes it probably would have cut through it. But I liked the embossed effect. :)

You can see my full list of supplies at the DTC Blog!

You have until February 14th to link up your "Metallics" card/projects. And, yes, you can link up more than once!! Make sure you have a colored image on your project and you follow the Metallics theme. Also please add a direct link to your project to be eligible.

See you back here Friday!
Hugs,
Rosie :)

I'm already back with another post and this times it's for La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday.

Our theme for this week is:

No FLOWERS!!

Man, was this a hard one for me!! I love to add flowers to my cards!! So today, I kept it pretty clean and simple, which I kinda like! :)

Before I get to my card, don't forget all the dies and stamps from CHA are now in the LLLC Store and available for order immediately!!

I used a newly released stamp from the Valentine's Release called Saxophone Luka! Isn't he the cutest thing ever!! I colored him with Copics on Neenah Cardstock.
Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Hearts/Shirt: R24, R27, R29, R89
Vest/Pants/Shoes: N2, N4, N6, N8
Saxophone: YR21, YR23, YR24, Y28

I also used some new LLLC Dies on my card.
The light cream dp came from my stash. The red/white polka dot paper came from MelzStamps HERE. The sentiment is a new one for me from One Little Dreamer Happy Ending. I raised Luka and the banner on pop-dots for added dimension.

Hugs!
Rosie :)
